Thank you Mumma Mic once more for the loving and relaxing care!… while I don’t think everyone with any platform should be treated as a political expert, it’s also okay to have beliefs and values that align with who you are as a person, if that makes sense. Everything IS political including the ability to relax, like you said— also, your expertise in psychology can only lend itself here. For example, children in Gaza are dealing with and have faced unbelievable amounts of trauma and as someone with a psychology platform and coming from a place of privilege, I think that speaking to that is important when you’re called upon to do so. To see an ASMRtist stand up for what they believe in and for justice would bring me immense comfort as well. It isn’t possible to alienate your work from a broader context, unfortunately, and I hope that as things get worse in the world that you can use what knowledge and position you do have to speak to and support it. ❤️
