Just a heads up, Helge is Peter's father, not Charlotte's. + As for family trees, the official Netflix one is pretty good, since you can select which episode you're on, so you don't see things that haven't been shown yet. The whole controversy is that you can still infer some things from it. I don't think it's a spoiler if you connect the dots before the show lays it out for you, it's just the perks of being good at picking up on details, which you are, so there's that...

NO SPOILERS Ok I kinda lied and watched it right now anyway lol I must confess it was a bit funny how you said people were saying you are doing pretty good with characters while calling Mikkel Mads lol I think you are good with names but the faces aren't clicking as fast. If you want to avoid family trees, you could build your own family tree with screengrabs of their faces (if you have time to do it ofc) Speaking of family trees, people on youtube are probably saying not to check a family tree because they don't know/remember about the .io site, which is the safest family tree to check. The .io tree is, as far as I know, more known between tinfoil hat users like me and other big fans online, it wasn't advertised as much while the series was being released (I believe it didn't exist during s1, I only found out about it near s3). Any other family tree, wiki page or google search is bound to have spoilers, so beware. The .io family tree does show names and some characters could have "obscure info" (things viewers can infer but are not *yet* explicitly said in episodes - charlotte being chief of police is one example). Edit: I forgot to mention this minor info only appear if you click on the character's photo to see their timeline. If you only look at the family tree there is no info other than their names. Since you like discovering characters names and minor info while watching, maybe you can wait a bit more to check the site. I'd say by the later half of s1 is a fair time to check it if the minor info doesn't bother you. Obviously, if you decide to never look at the tree it is okay as well, you'll be fine anyway Some minor clarifications: - Helge Doppler is Peter Doppler's father. Charlotte is a Doppler by marriage. - Jonas' love interest is Martha Nielsen, the brunette girl, daughter of Ulrich and Katharina, sister of Magnus and Mikkel - You don't know who Regina's father is. Last episode you thought it was the 1986 police officer E. Tiedemann (you don't know his first name yet I believe), but in the same episode you realized he was actually the father of Claudia (powerplant lady/bad mom), thus being grandfather of Regina. But about the (great) reaction, we finally met Elisabeth! You had seen her only in pictures before this ep. Franziska only meant the "dumb and deaf act" as in ellie uses her deafness to play innocent when she is far from it Also Noah mentioned! I won't say much other than I'm really excited for you to know more about him. I'm patiently waiting next episode's reaction!

Really enjoying your meticulous approach to the series. Remember how Magnus was confronting Franziska in ep 2? Franziska came to the cave on her own, so even though Magnus has a crush on her it's understandable why he was stalking her if he suspects she has something to do with Mikkels disapearance. To me it seems like her confession about her family being weighted down by lies and her father cheating put Magnus at ease and thats why he "opened up" in the locker room. There is so much implicit storytelling, like for example when you asked why Charlotte was that cagey about the wildlife cam screenshots, it's probably cause she immidiatly recognised her husbands car.

I think if you're doing a good job of taking notes, you don't need the family tree. It's just a nice reference to have if you get confused. You'll get the names down eventually, I'm not really concerned about it as a viewer.
