Boi ohhhhh BOI! I am PUMPED for what Season 2 is going to bring to the table after that thrilling conclusion.

I'm feeling confident! I think I finally (with a 'lil help from the online timeline) have a handle on everyone's names and family ties and the story in general. Taking a quick/small break and then I'll be going FULL-TILT into ripping through Season 2! Hope you guys and gals are enjoying, as always feel free to express yourselves below. Am I getting it? Am I still mucking it up? Am I an insult to German culture as a whole???

Chemistry trivia: The Higgs Boson is an unstable subatomic particle sometimes called “The God Particle” because its related field (the Higgs field) gives particles mass. I think the show will keep things a little more metaphorical than literal, we like that it’s got the “god” connection thematically so we’re gonna start talking about Higgs Fields, but I don’t think we’re necessarily dabbling in realistic time travel theories. Elemental Cesium is extremely reactive. The stuff will explode on contact with even tiny amounts of water, even the moisture in the air. Cs-137 is a moderately radioactive isotope, it’s one of the primary dangerous contaminants that were released during the Chernobyl disaster. The stranger walking around with a little vial of it is probably not a huge problem, it might increase his risk of cancers and could cause some burns to his hand if he holds it for too long.

That aside, your reaction to Noah's " We belong to the light." - "Oh SURE you do 🙄" had me cracking up 😂 Edit: The only comment I will make, purely because I think the family tree website sort of misled you, is that mystery box connected to Greta Doppler (Helge's mum), replacing Bernd, is only because we don't know the identity of Helge's biological father.

Finale time! Dark knows how to make a perfect finale. Haven't watched the whole reaction yet, but as for the opening: I don't believe Peter or Tronte knew about anything special before the events that are showed in the opening of this episode. And as for the unbearably slow Dark family tree website: It might be because you're recording, it could also be a browser issue. I tested the site on some older machines and it works properly on both an 8 year old Mac, as well as on a 4 year old Windows laptop. Tested in both Firefox and Chrome. Don't be afraid to pick the latest episode you've watched, there's 100% no spoilers, this is the information the writers wanted everyone to be aware of as of the latest episode watched.

Really excited for you to start Season 2. Season 1 did a great job laying an interesting foundation, but S2 takes it up a notch in my opinion.

i am once again reminding you that the "e" in Tronte's name is audible, and will be audible in any other name that ends with "[consonant]e". you can say it like tront-eh or tront-uh if you want. otherwise you are doing pretty good on name pronunciations 👍
