I think you're doing a perfectly fine job. Lots of us got to binge it it right away instead of watching in batches for content, and have had years to rewatch and absorb all these details. You're trying to engage with the show on its level and that's good enough for me.

I'm late to this now, but I always have to watch these in a couple of sittings! Excellent reaction, quite right, who isn't involved at this point and how can anyone be trusted when everything seems to just perpetuate the cycle? How can it be broken if everything that came before or has happened, continues to happen... I find it interesting how Marta thinks they're a perfect match, and after all Jonas has gone through and knows, he still says the same. I'm quite surprised you've never heard of Rubella as it's part of the MMR vaccine that was purported to cause autism in that, later retracted, paper which really kicked off the anti-vax movement (there was probably some sentiment before but this was a large part of this from memory)!
