Such a good episode with lots of small details and symbolism. You were right L did start thinking Light was Kira again. - L immediately knew Light was Kira again when he asked him “Have you ever told the truth”. When Light didn’t have his memories he would always get defensive, and mad when L presumed he’s still Kira. But here Light gave him a calm elaborate(ChatGPT) answer. - In the rain, when L says he keeps hearing the bells ringing, he’s hinting that he feels he’s going to die. - You’re also right about the foot scene. It’s a symbol for Jesus & Judas. Judas was a traitor, and L accepts he may die without being proven right, and chooses humility anyway.

I'm glad y'all caught the reference of the washing scene. L hearing bells was also a metaphor for him being near the gates of heaven, I think.

I don’t know if you guys saw the beginning of the episode because it wasn’t included in this reaction but it showed a bit of a preview to L’s backstory. With the children crying, remember L is from the UK
