They don’t even give you time to grief Jiraiya. It’s like “Jiraiya died? Cool let’s have Sasuke and Itachi box”

I knew i was going to be laughing my ass off when Itachi pointed towards the chair showing he never got up, and you guys did not disappoint 😂😂. That without a doubt is in my top 5 moments in the entire Naruto series.

The manga was wild for me because I was reading them in real time and I would have to wait a week for the next issue

Raph talking about the villains with strong belief they are doing the right thing being the "best" - that's so perceptive! I've been getting that feel, like in Naruto manga logic, the big part of character's strength is his motivation, so the villains who fight for petty reasons like money are the lowest level (like the mafia guy from the Zabuza&Haku arc), then the ones who fight for their selfish ambitions like most of mid villains, and then the highest level is the psycho fighting for 'world peace' like Pain. That makes so much sense actually, in real life too, motivation correlates to your strength...and that is one of the first 'rules' of this story's philosophy told through the words of Haku in very first arc of Naruto - Only when you protect something important, you can show your maximum strength basically...the Gara vs Naruto fight was also about stronger motivation deciding the winner, one fights for himself, other for his friends...it was all so well set up...
