I'm not sure about the controlled demolition theory, but the science is not as settled as you portray. It isn't normal for a sky scraper to collapse due to fire. And the "Popular Mechanics" debunking all the conspiracy theories is written by a couple of beltway journalists, not engineers. Read their actual list of "expert" sources & they're mostly CEOs.

Yeah, given the nature of the show I'm never surprised when they dismiss 'conspiracy theories' out of hand, but serious questions remain about 9/11, questions like 'wait so are you telling me that basically any of these buildings can fully just fall down from a fire started on the upper floors?? Like, if that is actually true then, uh, that is NOT GOOD and you are kind of tacitly accepting a MASSIVE conspiracy to hide the reality that these skyscraper buildings are all houses of cards.

I'll give the official theory the benefit of the doubt when it goes through peer review. Considering that it hasn't, it's pretty ironic to pretend that a hard scientific consensus is on either side.
