If he does that, then she would know that he isn't a native and is from Earth like her; which would be problematic. Also, while he knows something is wrong with her, the average person doesn't know how/what to do in such situations.

Aeon is tree, that have wood shapeing, trees are wood, wood is use to bulding a ship. A treeyard? Treecallow? Treejatcs? Treeships? Tremdel black pearl you days of sea are over here comes... tree sap. Terror of zeas....

How would they move or be maintained if Aeon used woodshaping to build the ships. Ships get damaged by just being in the water, and require constant maintenance. Copper Bottoms where developed to somewhat counteract this on Earth, but Aoen would be building purely wooden ships unless they unlock some form of metal or stone shaping. Although I don’t know if Aeon would be able to maintain connect with the boat if they made one but I highly doubt the wood Aeon can produce would be damaged by just water. If anything, Aeon would just ask for seeds from Lily so that he can expand through the water or just obtain water related plants like seaweed.
