Well, fuck. That was a good chapter. The fight felt close from start to finish. I'm glad to see they managed to kill the demon King. Losing Kei and most of his level 125 individuals will be crushing though but gaining 27 levels is insane. I'm curious to see if he gained anything from that. Hopefully the other two heroes don't come and try to conquer the continent... Thanks for the chapter!

It may seem like Aeon has weakened and the Central Continent is in chaos...But in truth, they just managed to tag-team a demon king and help a hero. Moreover, the rifts will be closed and casualties (other than Aeon's elites and top forces) were kept to a minimum. Lastly, Aeon should have gained 2 more sets of Domain abilities at lv 180 and lv 190. I dare those Heroes to step onto the Central Continent! They will be drowned in the spit of the people and be a punching bag for Aeon's grief!

What a chapter. I'm happy it didn't end with a cliffhanger, or I would have had to hold my breath for a week, or more. So it seems Edna survived, and maybe the priest as well. She's my favorite support character along with Arlisa, so it's good that she (probably) survived. I guess Aeon can make deals with Jura, Lovis and Faris and put them in a tree or a beetle. But most likely it won't happen. Also a lot of questions here. Demon lord is a collection of enslaved souls? What will the heroes do now that Kei is dead or disabled? Will Aeon become more detached with a few friends / subordinates dead? Also what did he get?

Losing his ride or die right hand man is going to hurt a lot. Jura had been around since Treetree got replanted that second time. He was always in Treetrees corner and always gave sound advice. He also had no respect for foreign leaders. Hopefully he can find someone like that again.

Someone else said Jura didn't want that. I'm not sure which chapter that's from, but I believe it. Also, I think he needs to give them a special pact BEFORE they die? That's how he's done it with everyone in the past anyway. Not sure if it works after death.

Is it really in chaos though? Aeon lost part of his army but very little of any of the command structure and bureaucracy within the continent. The government is still standing and has a major win to bolster support.

There will be a fire in Aeon from now on, this one turned personal. One thing is seeing people die when you are removed from it, other is seeing one of your only friends die in such a way, badass as hell but in the end a loss is a loss.

I wonder if there's any chance for a Hall of Heroes type construction, where TreeTree can preserve at least a shade of dead Heroes and non-Heroes who served well in their time. Such an epic battle and their final sacrifice deserves to be remembered.

Is aeons crown still covered in demon fire?????, It was never stated that he recovered from it. And it was also said that it weakens him somewhat.

i mean he was burning because he directed the demonic power there as he removed it he naturally stop burning there for the curse he most likely recovered from it after some time but it was never stated that he did so who knows

Great chapter, my only recommendation is to not to strech out the word like you did, its really jarring and ruins the quality of the scene. I would suggest expressing the same effect with a few sentences instead, or you can look up how other authors deal with character death. But otherwise amazing story as always!
