Kind of late to notice this but I wanted to point it out. I was looking at the titans pool from a while ago. Do you guys remeber that we could've voted to get Jura's familiar a titan soul? Yeah. There is no way the author would've killed Jura after we gave him a titan soul. We basically killed Jura.

So it looks like there is more to the ball of dirt they all live in, wondering if some old forgotten god has decided that empowering the new god is better in the long run that allowing the fools running the show now to continue.

My theory, is that the ball of dirt they live on is created through layers and layers of destruction from countless demon invasions and that is why it has nothing to do with the gods. And is perhaps the reason for the demon invasions, the 'slaver' faction is working to take the world from the god faction and they do it by covering the world in demonic energy laced destruction. Perhaps there is something under all those layers of destruction that is being cut off from the surface, something related to the gods, or perhaps the god of that world themselves are down there, trapped by the demonic efforts. Or perhaps it is the native gods or will of the planet that is trapped and outside gods and 'slavers' are the ones both battling for dominance and cooperating to keep it suppressed, which is the reason for the rules.

I don't know if that was intended to be a demonstration of how detached aeon has become from the human experience or if the horriffic implications were incidental. I still enjoy the story and I'm not trying to criticise, just got cold shiver down my spine when I read that part.
