In regards to the body snatchers, could these have been on Aeon’s world before? We have seen human-demons in the past, and could these just be a degraded version of the hero parasite? This time to scale. Perhaps it’s not just domains? Maybe the familiar contracts can act as a sort of immune system? Familiar contract already can affect the individual subconsciously I think, when not passively?

Aeon just needs a way to knock the people out, and then overload their demonic mana with his natural mana. LIke the demon dog, or other demons from his experiments. Human/Aeonic-demon hybrids.

I think Aeon needs to start working on making elite high tech/magic equipment for his people. They have the levels but so far they dont really have the equipment. He might be able to survive a wide array of environments but most of his people cant. It would be a good idea for him to make some elite armor that acted as both a environmental suite that could protect the user from parasites/lack of pressure & oxygen/standard armor protection as well as allow sensors that allow them to use spirit vision and maybe even sense their vitals. His people are his biggest resource it would suck for a worm to jump into a foot or something and kill them.

How about super “gamer-like” tree goggles? Plus an under shell like a skin suit? (Like the nano suit in Crysis?) the former make take some crystal help mixed with sap and tree latter may be unlockable as a sort of passive for the familiar, like a fusion of ironbark skin and the regeneration skill? [Body/Vitality of Aeon]?

Damm really nice idea for this demons invasion and what a pain in the ass it will be, seem the most horrible or difficult invasion this world can get, or they have a special weakness who rend they a more less difficult Too bad we dont gonna have a switch of new heroe summoned this time normally, (was curious how the god can specialize their heroe vs this type of demons invasion, doctor type heroe? specialist detection? exterminator of pest? or just nuking whole area xD)

I hope if Aeon does go that route, he uses something like “terraforming” bomb, a super condensed form of nature mana that blows up and not only purges the demonic influence, but also spreads life and Aeon’s influence throughout the continent! Heck, it may even convert some of the corrupted instead of killing them. (Creating new tree folk!) This may actually be how the Tree folk were born! Nature mana + Infested Terrans (humans) = Tree people!

How about Hytreeon? A movie base instead of directly bringing Aeon (that part may be too difficult), Aeon can try and teleport Hytreeon or something, that or find a substitute to Lumoof or copy trees.

Purification squads that can spread of counter virus based on star mana to turn against the demons? Or maybe just mass energy user that project healing auras or some ethereal projection attack? Like Star mana based healing/conversion. Now that I think about it, that would be great strategy for fighting the demons. Try to incorporate more Star mana into the natives! Like the heroes raising star mana reinforced legions or creating a star mana nexus of some kind, that spawns star creatures like that volcano tree. That may be too much, such as the fact with how Cometworld ended, but the idea has merit. Who knows, maybe Aeon will get a sort of star mana core when he gets all 100 hero fragments and generates his own sort of Aeonic Star mana, like the Gods or the Demons with void mana?

Let’s hope it’s just a grim reaper, then Aeon may be able to recruit it as sort of Titan Soul harvester, or at least one with an artificial mind, a reaper commander, just like how Horns leads the beetles! (I’m still waiting for a new thinking/talking monster minion. I’ll even take a spider assistant commander, though, that may be pointless and just annoy and interfere with Horns.

I'm disturbed by how many people are quickly jumping to glassing the entire southern continent. Like there are a massive number of innocent people. That should only be considered if they fail and needed to keep them from spreading to other continents.

I imagine because they're fucked if it does start to spread. look at how quick covid spread for example. I imagine the fear of witch hunt's in their own countries is a deciding factor as well

Can't aeon convert demons? Converting enough of those body snatchers into allies of some sort could lead to the first capture of a demon king without any damage being dealt to the core.

True, but a parasite is a parasite through and through— plus, these seem like simpler creatures than the hero parasite, and more general in their purpose.

Let’s see how they react to [Nature Mana Overwhelming], I think it would be cool if the parasite transformed into some kind of special equipment or implant for Aeon’s soldiers, like a neutral implant in the body, assisting rather than controlling? Maybe make a sort of biological version of the nano tech like
