Thanks for the chapter! Glad to see countermeasures are finally being made. Hopefully the issue with treefolk and lizardborn is discovered soon. Surprised Aeon hasn't offered to take an refugees... especially since he wouldn't have an incredibly hard time transporting them or finding who's infected.

What he said :) They are a whole bunch of questions unanswered and possible thing the author can use in future chap if he take some time to resume everything and see "ah i forgot about that and what it possibly imply" i can use that in next chapter for new development :) Well aniway this type of story can only go into a clusterfuck at some point (too many thing to take into account or possibly implied with how imaginative the author is and everything the author put into the story) Doesnt change that i love every chapter coming out overall and its quite relaxing to read about what next he cooked and what Aeon do (like the last thing: parasite demon btw :)

Remember Aeon, original, was a mortal mind, so he can remember everything, which is why he surrounds himself with smart people like Alka! He isn’t some tactical genius or super mastermind, he employs those. Perhaps in a later chapters, these abilities will be addressed as passively worked on or remembered, and something impressive happens. This story is from the perspective of a Tree, so small things become automated, while Aeon focuses more on the big things, like demon invasions. In regards to research, I think it’s not as simple as we think, to adapt to something, like the volcano, it required constant contact to achieve, while the demon possessions and conflicts are sprewsd

Can Aeon use his parasite to infect and defend someone from the demon’s parasite? Also it feels like the demon kings might start coming sooner than 10 years soon.

Spread* out over the South, and the beetles are too far away to help, though sending beetle support may help in the South. Research focuses on the idea of common and general. Aeon’s trees and his beetles, a baseline, I don’t think the Valthorns are subject to that. Maybe he can alter his trees/beetles to help in some way, the biggest issue is that anything demon-made is just too brief and too advanced when compared to Aeon. This and the lack of demon energy is most likely the reason why the demons that Aeon converts are downgraded and also why Aeon has no real demon no super effective counter abilities other than defenses against general demon energies. The Demons run and rules an interstellar, and possibly intergalactic, constantly conquering empire, and Aeon has only barely explored his general region of space and minor world traveling capabilities. Going from the “iron-age” to the “space-age” will be difficult.

Nice work getting the parasite converting question solved, perhaps with time, a parasite that is symbiotic with body and acts as armor/support will be made.

I accidentally deleted my previous comment so I’m just gonna post it again: Can Aeon use the Forest Rod on the core/will of his world, would that be the same as the “Will of the World” subdomain? If gods have their own type of mana, star mana, and demons also have their own category of mana, will we soon get an Aeon mana type? We have Aeonic class variants, why not mana? Can Aeon mass produce level 100 troops by using Domain Ability: Gift of Accelerated Growth + ginseng + experience seeds? Also why hasn’t Aeon been using his Domain Ability: Gift of Accelerated Skill Evolution on his subordinates: Edna, Patreeck, Lumoof, Stella, etc? Or just use experience seeds more often on already high level people? I mean he is hoarding it and has hundreds of them or has he already been doing that. How many level100+ troops does Aeon have? How big and tall is Aeon’s true body? Are tree spirits rare? What happened to the [tree-rebirth] skill Aeon got at chapter 1? What would happen if Aeon creates numerous Grand Mind trees? Would he get even more benefits or is only one possible. How powerful is Aeon’s Domain ability: Roots of life now that he spans the entire continent? I remember he had a milestone where he connected to 300 billion trees. What happened to the demonic tree research/botany? If Aeon can convert/assimilate demon champions using his mana, can Aeon possibly convert the demon king? Maybe he can merge a clone body with the demon king? How about a hero? How big are the Valthorns in terms of quantity? How would people react when they realize Aeon is only about 200 years old? How many heroic fragments does Aeon currently have? When Meela and Alexis separated from Aeon, Meela promised that it would be worth it in the long term to spare them and that she would repay Aeon. A 100 years later and they don’t seem to have any use, considering Alexis is still hostile towards Aeon. In addition, Meela seems to be hiding things from Aeon, what happened to being helpful? For soul contracts, can Aeon forcefully bend the will of the contracted soul to his liking? I mean the current contracted souls, such as Yvon, Meela, and Alexis, keep their personalities, but Aeon technically owns them, so shouldn’t he have some more authority? What happened to familiars, artificial soul level caps, essences, research labs, class seeds, etc? How many familiars can Aeon now grant? How much exp does he get from the familiars? Why hasn’t he gotten any level ups from passive deaths? What are the levels of his artificial souls now? Can Aeon somehow unlock another soul forge color on the moon? Shouldn’t Aeon have an enormous amount of essences now that are just sitting there? There has to be some uses of these essences. Didn’t research allow Aeon to gain a whole bunch of artificial skills, like tree eyes? Now that he has like over 100 artificial souls, can’t he just gain a lot of skills and abilities through research? I remember him using the research feature to adapt to volcanoes and find alternate power sources to unlock more forge colors, what happened to that? Why not use this feature to somehow cross the ocean and create more powerful troops? What about new methods of attacking? Can he create roots that attack the soul? Aeon is an expert at mana manipulation. Can this create a lot of new attack moves? Maybe a energy blast. What happened to runes? Is Aeons dream academy skill still being used? Exactly how many class and skill seeds does Aeon have? What about Aeons anointed king, what does that do? I feel like Aeon has the potential to have an extreme power up by using his past abilities. It would be nice if he takes a step back and uses some of his past abilities. How much mana does Aeon have compared to a hero, considering he has an entire continent? Could he possibly beat a hero through a battle of attrition using his, possibly, enormous mana pool? What happened to evolution changes every 30 levels? Is Aeon at the highest possible tree species? (what species was he again?) What happened to Reefy? What would happen if Aeon used Natural Mana Overwhelming on the land around him or just flood the normal land with his mana? Would nothing happen? What is the population of the central continent and the world? Exactly how big are the continents and Aeon’s world? Does Aeon have any control over his pantheon members? We never really got an answer. Aeon should also really develop some backup plans in case some of his high level people betray him. Possibly a soul contract plus pantheon bind combo could fix that issue? Or does his divine influence and Aeonic classes prevent that from happening. But it’s a good thing they will probably never reach a higher level than Aeon because of his op experience boost. This is just a whole bunch of questions that popped into my mind while I was rereading due to an unhealthy amount of free time.

Coffee, wow, the wonder drink of the modern age! Picking you up and putting the demons out! The excess caffeine must focus the parasite to actually activate, but since the caffeine like the psyc-sap, it decides to take the easier path and just leave the body. Sad that this fact has ended one tragedy and started another one. Maybe the refugees just need a drug that acts like caffeine but isn’t. I wonder if all this coffee drinking will eventually lead to a hyper and crashed population? (A culture of either doing everything super fast or sleeping like logs. 😂)

A counter parasite, like a counter virus. The parasite will need to be evolved and modified to become symbiotic with the host instead of harming them, but the potential is there. I can see the demons coming faster, but I think the 10 year rule for the DK should stand, the gods and demons are bound by magic rules, and I think this is fastest it will allow.
