Gods, this idiot is almost as delusional as the Temperance guy. Fucking moron. Maligar didn’t ‘make’ you do this, you *wanted* to murder everyone just so that you’d have a slightly easier time at your goals. Byeh, disgusting hypocrisy. Thanks for the chapter!

KevB

Yona better rip this guy apart

Andrew

trying to guess what virtue/sin Joakim has, I think it's either pride (thinks his rise is the way to solve the worlds problems) or greed (willingness to take things while disregarding the cost to others)

kjrubberducky

I'd say more delusional, as he doesn't have a skill screwing with his perception of reality... unless he does? Tftc!

PrometheusDarkflame

I don’t think we have the full list of virtues but if he has one of those it could be either Diligence (potential counterpart of Sloth, being warped into “doing everything to achieve your goal, regardless of consequences”) or Purity (potential counterpart of Lust, warped into more of a “my way is the only true way” type of purity). That said, I can’t see any way he could have Humility (counterpart of Pride), Kindness (counterpart of Envy), Patience (Wrath) or Charity (opposite of Avarice/Greed). Oh, he probably *could* have Temperance but I think it’s rather unlikely.

TFTC. At this point I’m wondering if the gods made everyone who might have refused to fight to the death [delusional] to ensure that they be as destructive as possible. It wouldn’t surprise me if Yona just doesn’t have that because she’s always had a screw loose. On a different note I’m kinda guessing Yona’s final form will be some kind of giant hydra with a dozen different heads which would be cool

Jonathan Willis

Thanks for the chapter. I mean even if he gave him the dungeon, all the civies would be killed anyway, the guy is a necromancer who has already shown he's happy to kill innocents for the "greater good". Cowardice or not, not accepting the deal is the right call.

RoboCookiesnake

He’s going to be confused when he goes back to his dungeon only to find it eaten down to the bedrock

Lazy Monster

Thinking on it and reading other comments, I’m wondering if all the people with virtues go crazy. We seen 3 sins and 2 virtues at this point and the sins have all been oddballs but not delusional and destructive to the degree that the virtues have been.

I think the issue with sin/virtue holders and monsters in general is the quests. Remember Yona had a questline to murder or hide/integrate/make friends and she was warned about it? I think each of these chosen we've encountered so far took the wrong questline and got their mentality warped. Started innocuous and quickly warped their minds.

Arkeus

Nice timing that it just happened there was no one strong who could just kill him there.
