What image format would you prefer? (Patreon)

As you may have noticed I mostly create images in square format because it's a good compromise—it looks decent on both mobile and desktop/tablet. However, it's not the ideal format for either. The best format for desktop/tablet is horizontal (landscape), while for mobile, vertical (portrait) works best.

I still do some vertical or horizontal images depending on the picture and often use those formats for HD shots.

But now I'm wondering—should I create more vertical or horizontal pictures? What do you think? Do you usually view galleries on your mobile or computer? And if so, what format do you prefer most? Square, vertical, or horizontal?
