It's customary during junior and senior high graduation for grads to give the second button to somebody who they like. Ohana-no-mitsu > Flower nectar (the city name) The girlfriends are the ones who die because when somebody misses out on their soulmate, they use up all of their luck and die from an accident.

Awesome to see Tee back! And especially with 100 GFs. The Gintama of harem parody comedies. Hakari’s VA is the same as Eiko from Ya Boy Kongming! and Sakura from ZombieLand Saga. Karane’s VA is the same as Riko from Made in Abyss and Miko Iino from Kaguya-sama. The writer of this series (there’s a writer/artist duo) and Aka Akasaka (mangaka of Kaguya-sama) are good friends. Akasaka actually did an interview with the 100 GF writer that was very informative. The writer said the idea from this came from his two biggest frustrations in romance manga. 1. The MC not having believable relationships with his romantic lead. How a lot of them are either full self-inserts that have no character or they do things to make you not root for them to find love. 2. The writer says he’s never been interested in romance that’s all about the chase. He says with respect to those types of series, those series (like Kaguya) emphasize the chase so much that it makes it seem like a relationship is an end goal. That the work you put into confessing ends. When the work to maintain a relationship is just as important. He’s also said that love at first sight is fun but he finds writing ongoing relationships because when a couple finds something new about themselves, it feels like falling in love all over again. This is a very hopeful series that waterbaords you with jokes. But it does have some poignant things to say about the nature of love and having a healthy relationship with someone you care for. And yes, of this week there’s 32 GFs in the manga and they’re all characters. No characters get sent away or rotate out. It’s very gradual character writing at work. And that’s only with 208 chapters done. This thing might be as long as One Piece by the time they’re done.

I've been watching S2, and was just thinking to myself during the last episode, "You know, I bet Tee would have a great time with this, and I'd love to see his reaction to it"
