Dee

I was hyped for this episode!

Crisocval

Every season 1 episode reminds me of how much better animation, art and direction is in season 2. We were truly blessed

drag2

fake news, s2 is a mess with animators complaining how little time and how unfinished some episodes are, you can see shortcuts taken by them and most of the action is lower quality than this fight and the ones around ep18, add to that ghosting and dimming and s2 is a disappointment for the most part

Anonymous

whenever someone says "ghosting and dimming" i immediately assume their opinion is taken straight off tiktok

Edgar

And it reminds me how much more kinetic, with better action timing and camera placement s1 action is

Zwei

Just wait for the Blurays if 5 seconds of some anti-epilepsy filter affect you that much.

Zairaner

Lol, so far every episode has accomplished the exact opposite with me.

LAMPOON MAN

Based, so far every episode has accomplished the exact same thought with me.

disky

gojo really looks at his enemies with that Lightskin Stare. also the power system in this story is really cool. its interesting to me how a few anime in the past 10 years have had an element in the power system that is essentially, the more crazy you are the more power you have.

Eternalize

I see it as the other way around: the more power you have the crazier you are (it's the power making them crazy not the craziness making them powerful - just a thought tho)

The direction and camerawork of the opening scene of S2E1 was such a departure and far outclassed anything in S1. Really, the entire first arc of S2 may be my favorite of what's been adapted so far. The tracking shot of ****** vs. ********* in S2E7 was stunning. One would have to be a dedicated contrarian to argue that anything in S1 surpasses the technical quality of Yuji vs. ***** in S2E13. It really seemed to me like the animators at Mappa took what they learned during their work on Chainsaw Man and leveled up. I think it would be fair to say that each season at the time of airing looks great , and S1 still holds up very nicely.
