I wanted to take a moment to talk to you, because I know some of you might be wondering why I’ve been a little distant lately.

The truth is… I’m really overwhelmed right now.

I haven’t been checking Patreon as much, and I haven’t been able to work on my webtoon as actively as I used to. One of the main reasons is that people have been stealing my work and posting it illegally. It’s heartbreaking, I put so much love, time, and energy into every page, and seeing it shared without my permission really hurts.

I reached out to one of the people who was doing this and asked them to stop, but honestly… it’s emotionally and mentally exhausting. And with personal stress piling up in my life, I’m reaching a point where I feel like I just can’t take on any more. Sometimes I really wonder if I should just stop everything.

To protect my episodes, I’ve started using Dropbox and Google Drive (from the next episodes), even though I truly don’t want to add all these extra steps. Uploading, managing settings, waiting for everything to load, adjusting permissions… it takes up so much of my time and energy. Every single part of my webtoons, from the writing, to the character design, to the coloring… I do completely on my own. I don’t have a team behind me, it’s just me. That’s why all these extra steps feel even heavier sometimes.

I know it’s not ideal, for you or for me, but unfortunately it’s the only way I can make it a little harder for people to take and repost my work so easily. Of course, I know that if someone really wants to steal, they’ll always find a way. But even so, I want to at least create a barrier, something that might discourage them and make them think twice before doing it.

Because of all this, episodes will probably be shorter for now, and I won’t be able to update as often as I used to. I’m doing my best… but I’m also a human, and right now, I’m really tired, creatively and emotionally.

That said, please know this, once the series is complete, I’ll make the episodes downloadable for everyone. You’ll be able to access the full story the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
