I’m extremely confused. Maybe in a good way? I’m thinking he tried to force some type of ascension by piggybacking off the magic of the comet at its zenith and his own cultivated sorcery/sorcerers. It seems he failed to meet the required threshold and “shattered” himself as a result. Maybe I’m misinterpreting something, or just misinterpreting everything. Either way, interested to see how this goes.
