i'd recommend doing All Of The Girls You Loved Before along with the Lover album AOTGYLB is a Lover Vault Track that Taylor gave us before the start of the Eras Tour

IM SO EXCITED THAT YOU LIKE IT !!! I love this album 🖤 A lot of reactors are very split on this one, especially musicians or producers seem to not appreciate some of the production choices. Tbh even fans are split on favourites/skips in terms of songs and sometimes big rep fans (because they are so passionate) talk it up to the point that reactors are let down because it’s not what they expect. So I was worried about that and tried to manage expectations before lol. But I’m so glad it’s your favourite 🙂‍↕️ Some of her best live performances are from this era too

from what i’ve been seeing before of yours i expected you to like rep, kinda wondering about lover, personally i think its the most underrated album of hers and probably the “stay stay stay” aka “this is why we can’t have nice things” of her discography. i think it’s the most underrated one bc she chose the worst tracks as singles, besides title track, but she’s known for that. i think folklore is unhateable, but i hope for you being a lover enthusiast, but could totally understand if you aren’t, looking forward to it anyways. btw, after first listen you obv aren’t able to grasp all of it, but she marketed reputation as the comeback kinda villain arc, get rid of her good girl image album, but it’s actually a whole love album, while the next album is supposed to be talking about all perspectives of love, what it does but also a main part of it is anxiety and insecurity, then the next album is about so called “made up stories” which turned out to be quite real life inspired by insecurity inducing experiences. so she’s often lying to herself when it comes to the deeper sense of an album. she also ends lover with “i don’t want to be defined by the things that haunt me in the middle of the night” then proceeds (if you put covid albums in a bracket) to write an album about the things the haunt her in the middle of the night (midnights), which i think is really funny.

Not to defend 1989, but I think the production sounds better on the original album over taylor's version. that may be unpopular, but they didn't quite nail all of it. Her vocals are as good/better, and it's certainly a good copy/replacement, but it's a more modern mix that's louder but not necessarily richer. Just my opinion, but I am a little nervous about rep taylor's version because someone else is going to have to pull off martin's rep tracks (he hasn't been involved in re-recordings so far).

Yes definitely please do the deluxe versions of Folklore and Evermore when you get there! Especially Evermore (‘right where you left me’ is one of my favourites). Looking forward to getting to those for sure, but in the meantime I’m interested to see what you make of Lover! Rep is so iconic, glad you liked it!

Was the absolute best thing she's put out? Maybe not. But the energy of the album couldn't be ignored. I always applaud an artist for trying a new sound, even if they fall on their face. But Taylor and company stood their ground on this one.

The eras tour movie, Rep tour movie, 1989 world tour movie and the speak now tour clips are honestly all worth the watch. They are all so good but different from each other. They are all elevated in their own way. I can’t wait to see the Lover reaction. It’s my favorite but based on what you have like so far.. I think you’re probably gonna like it. I love that it’s a little more light hearted. I enjoyed this reaction though! 💖

I'm so psyched to see you watch some live stuff. So many of her lives, not just for Rep, but definitely for Rep, are what made me understand how her albums are where she plays with production and music and her tours and lives are where she plays with her vocal delivery and performance. Album? Clean good production. Live? tear up the rule book, turn over assumptions and find a way to sell a song as a performance of a concept. I just subscribed to your patreon today after finding on YT and I can't wait to keep watching all your vids!! I also love that you do your best to keep up on the taylore, but at the same time I appreciate the comment you made about focusing on the actual music and not trying to deep dive into what song is about who, though that adds fun to taylor albums, it should always be about the music and not just "how do we tie this to her personal life," which I will admit I do all the time bc I'm always invested in the taylor lore LOL.
