Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a 1975 British comedy film based on the Arthurian legend, written and performed by the Monty Python comedy group (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin) and directed by Gilliam and Jones in their feature directorial debuts. I really enjoyed seeing you watch this bizarre film. It’s only the 2nd time I’ve seen it, and I had much more fun this viewing because of your reactions. I was going to recommend Life of Brian so I’m glad you’re going to watch it. Another famous MP film is Meaning of Life. I don’t remember how good it is, except I remember my family laughing hysterically during the Catholic family scene. Monty Python was a popular English comedy show with a troupe of actors similar to SNL (except the cast stayed the same), but much wackier. If you haven’t seen A Fish Called Wanda I highly recommend it. It has John Cleese and Michael Palin (Sir Galahad) as well as Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline and I consider among all of their best works.

Arrrrhhhh our bonkers British humour gets lost on some people. It is a class stupid film that's hilarious that they generally stopped the film fast as they did actually run out of film budget.

Classic lines for me: "She turned me into a newt!" "Well, I got better."
