CASABLANCA (1942) - Full Watch Along

Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz and starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid. Filmed and set during World War II, it focuses on an American expatriate (Bogart) who must choose between his love for a woman (Bergman) and helping her husband (Henreid), a Czechoslovak resistance leader, escape from the Vichy-controlled city of Casablanca to continue his fight against the Nazis. The screenplay is based on Everybody Comes to Rick's, an unproduced stage play by Murray Burnett and Joan Alison. The supporting cast features Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, and Dooley Wilson.

FYI the audio on the YT edit is completely buggered over on YT. We hear you just fine but the film audio keeps clipping out. Might want to look into that.By the way I would normally do the full watch along for a classic like this but Casablanca I know almost by heart. 😁

“Play it Again, Sam” is a great follow up to “Casablanca”, a fun romantic comedy starring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton and of course, “When Harry Met Sally”

"Play it Again, Sam" is an example of the Mandela Effect where people commonly remember the same, mistaken thing. Some other examples: * "Luke, I am your father" instead of "No, I am your father." * Jiffy Peanut Butter" instead of "Jif Peanut Butter" * "Beam me up, Scotty" which is never said.
