THE WARRIORS (1979) - Full Watch Along

The Warriors is a 1979 American action thriller film directed by Walter Hill from a screenplay by Hill and David Shaber and based on the 1965 novel of the same name by Sol Yurick. The film features an ensemble cast which includes Michael Beck, James Remar, Deborah Van Valkenburgh, Marcelino Sánchez, David Harris, Tom McKitterick, Brian Tyler, Dorsey Wright, Terry Michos, David Patrick Kelly, Roger Hill, Edward Sewer, and Lynne Thigpen. In the film, a street gang must escape from the Bronx back to their home turf on Coney Island after being framed for the murder of a respected gang leader.

Super nerd moment here, the story is loosely based off an ancient Greek tale from the book anabasis, you can tell if you think about the movie as a small army going gome through different lands meeting other groups of people

That was fun. I saw this at the theater when it came out. And yes, you saw David Patrick Kelly in Commando; he was Sully. "Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last? Sully: That's right, Matrix! You did! John Matrix: I lied." He was also in 48 Hours. I like watching these movies from when I was a teen. You should check out Deliverance, Easy Rider, and Billy Jack.

In the original story it was the Pomeranian Boys trying to get back to Coby’s bed…they make it but their fur is all matted with dried poop stuck in it…lol
