TRON (1982) - MOVIE REACTION - First Time Watching

Tron is a 1982 American science fiction action adventure film written and directed by Steven Lisberger from a story by Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird. The film stars Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, a computer programmer and video game developer who is transported inside the software world of a mainframe computer where he interacts with programs in his attempt to escape. It also stars Bruce Boxleitner, David Warner, Cindy Morgan, and Barnard Hughes. Tron was one of cinema's earliest films to use extensive computer-generated imagery (CGI). As far as other well-known actors in this movie, Bruce Boxleitner (Alan/Tron) was a big TV star in the 80s. But more importantly, Dillinger/Sark was played by David Warner, who is a truly great British actor. I think the cheesiness of the movie is partially because it was intended for younger audiences. There's a reason it's a Disney movie. It was targeted at 10-12 year olds, I'm sure.

Going through movies for Halloween, I rediscovered a real gem. Innocent Blood (1992). It's a movie that should hit a poll for Halloween. Or you could just watch it if you haven't already.
