S02E05 Fun Facts (Patreon)

I knew we were going to try to get Carter on the show, so I was excited when I found a fic involving him and Awsten. I really wanted, when we had a guest, to do fics that involved them with Awsten whenever possible, which ended up being a rare occurrence, so...hint hint for next season, write some stories with Awsten and other music people and maybe we can get them on the show hmmmmmm.......

This was also only the second time I'd spoken to Carter, the first time being very briefly backstage at the Waterparks/Chapel show in Houston a couple months before (when we all went onstage during Chapel's set to eat McDonald's breakfast, which was very fun and tasty). So I think he truly did not realize my name wasn't Trevor. Maybe he has learned by now, but who knows?

Some alternate titles I had in mind for this episode were "Sweet and Horny," "Burly Boys," and "The Ballad of Trevor." 

Also Awsten's outfit in this episode was the most absurd thing I've ever seen. Luckily his allergies started to improve for other episodes but still. Also I see now on Twitter that he's sick or whatever? Why's he always feeling bad when we're trying to do podcast stuff? Is he trying to weasel out of it or is the show just cursed?

Probably the latter.
