The only way the end of Empty Places makes sense to me is if the hellmouth energy is affecting everyone. A couple people in there need their asses kicked, especially Anya, saying Buffy is lucky. Some luck, never having a normal life, the weight of the world on her shoulders since age 15, having to kill and/or die for loved ones, and not getting much support while doing it. I’m very team Buffy although I do get why they don’t want to go back to the vineyard and they probably shouldn’t. Buffy should have just gone by herself or waited for Spike to come back & go with her. Regardless, them kicking Buffy out of her own house is CRAZY and only explained by hellmouth energy cooking their brains imo.

You’re right about SMG’s voice too she was very sick during a good bit of the S7 filming, she had a respiratory infection that she had a lot of trouble shaking off, probably partly because she worked such long and hard hours during filming.. on a rewatch it’s noticeable in a few of the earlier episodes but it was really bad in this one, the poor thing could barely get her lines out

That last episode stressed me out and want to smoke a pack of cigarettes. Buffy said it would get ugly and it’s happening and they’re scared. I get their side BUT it’s gonna be the end of the world suck that shit up lol.
