When I first listened to this, I only really cared for the singles. But I've been playing it in the background during work, and it's been growing more and more on me. I still think I like Fireworks & Rollerblades more though. I think Mystical Magical is still my fav song on this still, followed by Momma's Song (which emotionally wrecks me each time I listen to it) and then I Want to Be the One You Call.

I literally had so many of the same thoughts while listening to this album. It's so good. I cannot understand the hate he's been getting. I just think people must not like having fun.

I 'm not gonna sit here and gush over.....you. Damn you're good at everything you do. I keep rewatching your Benson clips cuz those haters get me down in time. We oughta stop comparing him to "the you know who's" and say hey Benny sounds like Benny and that sound is better than the rest. Damn Freddie's been dead over 30 years now and Benson is just starting to breathe. I know of what I speak, this boy is 73 now and saw all of it play out in real time. Mr Boone is the real deal, that generational sounding magnet that you just cannot ignore nor get enough of.
