I swear this album gets better and better every time I listen to it!! My favorites change constantly, but my top 3 as it stands right now would have to be Elizabeth Taylor, CANCELLED!, and Actually Romantic! I also love you mentioned the reputation vibes because Taylor actually worked with the same producers from that album for this one and, for someone who has reputation in their top favorite Taylor albums, I was SO excited about it 🤩

so in an interview i think maybe jimmy fallon she said she was inspired by the show succession for the song father figure and not sure if true or not but ive heard from some swifties that she says i protect the family 6 times in the song for the 6 albums she got rights back to. and the song ruin the friendship is about the same guy in the song forever winter from the red album

You totally nailed it, Steven. Her energy is joy and happiness, and the freedom now to do what she wants b/c she has someone beside her who believes in her COMPLETELY. She might be picking up some of his "sh*t" talking ways, too, which I love! Loved this. You're not wrong. I cannot stop moving to Cancelled and Elizabeth Taylor, but I'm loving them all.
