It is interesting seeing both Kiritsugu and Shirou having almost seemingly opposite beliefs considering how much Shirou is inspired and looks up to him in Fate/Stay Night. Though you do the same reckless ideology of "saving the world" by sacrificing yourself, just in different ways. Kiritsugu sacrificing his humanity by becoming a killing machine and Shirou sacrificing his body and health
