Material that has never existed, and may never exist again, in the form of the Undead Primitive Demon’s bones. What would Shosai be willing to trade for such a unique material?
Koh and Ria need to make sure that whatever deal they make is the best one possible for the future of their Tribe.

-Day 332-
Koh and Ria marveled at the simple-looking shortsword that Shosai had brought over to the table as an example of his work.
It was somewhat plain in appearance, but it was a steel sword; not iron, not stone, but properly forged steel. The slight gleam of the metal also hinted at something hidden within the steel, something beyond mere material and definitely the result of having been forged by a skilled, and magical, swordsmith.
“That’s a simple design that I made over the course of six days.” Shosai said before sipping his tea. “For the unique material that you’re offering, I could make you several dozen of those.” He sat his tea cup on the table before a small grin crossed his features. “However, if you have a specific request for me, then I’m willing to hear you out.”
“Grandpa, don’t tease our guests.” Asami said with a small sigh. “You can’t just offer them tangible goods and then substitute an offer for a single request.”
Shosai looked at his granddaughter for a moment before speaking. “Of course I can. That’s the privilege of a famous craftsman, after all!” The Elder Hitogata Demon laughed, making the other three look at him flatly.
Koh looked thoughtfully at the steel shortsword. ‘It would be a boon to be able to give everyone in the Tribe a properly forged steel blade. But if we can get something that can benefit the Tribe even more than steel blades, we should definitely try.’
Ria looked at Koh and the two shared a quick, unspoken conversation between them. The couple was in sync enough that they quickly came to the same idea and agreement between them.
“While steel blades would be a benefit to the Koh Tribe, it seems like too little given the uniqueness of the material that we have for trade.” Koh said with a polite nod to Shosai.
“The entire skeleton is incredibly large too.” Ria added on, the couple building off each other’s statements as they reasoned with Shosai. “The quantity of unique material should also factor into our trade, shouldn’t it?”
Shosai looked between the Hobgoblins before taking on a thinking expression. “I suppose so.” He rubbed his chin, his fingers moving through the short hairs for a moment as he considered what to offer the Koh Tribe in exchange for the bones of the Undead Primitive Demon. “Something for the Tribe as a whole, or something that benefits a member that can then use it for the good of the Tribe.” Shosai laid out what Koh and Ria were going for as he understood it.
Koh nodded to Shosai. “That’s what we need to make a trade.”
“Grandpa, why not ask them what they want and make this simpler?” Asami asked Shosai curiously. It seemed the most simple and direct way for the two sides to reach an agreement. “It’s not as if anyone else has the material that they do.” She revealed that, much like her grandfather, she also had a craftsman’s spirit and desired to obtain the bones that the Koh Tribe possessed.
“You know nothing of the art of haggling, child.” Shosai looked at Asami and gave a playful grumble. “Ruin an old man’s fun.”
Asami sighed at her grandfather, but the two were smiling the whole time.
Shosai looked at Koh and Ria. “So, what exactly are you two looking for?”
Ria looked at Koh, another quick and unspoken conversation passing between the two, before she turned back to Shosai. “Knives, spears, shields, a battle axe, maybe some steel tools too.” She went down a list of weapons and things that would be a great benefit to the Koh Tribe if they could get them all.
“A sword too.” Koh spoke up, making Shosai and Asami look at him. “Using this as one of the materials, if possible.” He reached into the pouch he kept at his hip and placed the Thunder Gem that he’d gotten from Pojun Everoot during their trading.
Shosai and Asami both blinked at the Thunder Gem, it was clear that neither of the craftsmen had expected to see such a thing in the possession of a Hobgoblin.
“Where did you get this?’ Shosai asked as he gestured towards the Thunder Gem, silently asking if he could pick it up.
Koh nodded that Shosai could pick up the Thunder Gem on the low table before answering. “I traded with an Elder Gnome by the name of Pojun for it. They live on the other side of the mountain and we’ve decided to do some trading with each other occasionally.”
Shosai nodded as he held the Thunder Gem up to his eye, looking it over with experience. “Not often that you see a Thunder Gem in the Silua Forest, that’s for sure. Most that use them just use up the finite Lightning Magic in them for a single spell-like blast against an enemy.”
“Can it not be used?” Ria asked curiously as Shosai passed the Thunder Gem to Asami so that his granddaughter could examine it too.
“With the small size, it has a very limited amount of Lightning Magic within it.” Shosai told the two Hobgoblins flat out.
Koh grimaced a bit. “So it can’t be used then.” It looked like his idea was unfeasible after all.
“I am a master Demonic Weaponsmith. I can forge this into a sword over the course of eight days or so.” Shosai corrected Koh’s incorrect assumption. “It wouldn’t be overly powerful as a magical weapon, but it would indeed be a quality sword.”
Asami grinned at her grandpa quickly defending his skills as a weaponsmith. “If we agree to this, I can handle the tools and the simple knives.” She offered, just as eager to test out her skills as her grandfather had been in his youth.
Shosai laughed and playfully ruffled Asami’s hair, making her lightly swat at his hand. “That’s my granddaughter!”
“Grandpa!” Asami smoothed out her hair as best as she could with a little pout on her face.
“Now.” Shosai became serious as he turned his attention back onto Koh and Ria. “Let’s talk numbers and materials. The higher the quality of each piece, the less of them you’d receive in trade for the materials you have. If you want simple steel tools and knives, we can offer up plenty of them in trade.” He explained to the two Hobgoblins. “However, if you want weapons with magical strength or enchantments imbued into them during forging, then you’ll be looking at only a few pieces, but they’ll be much stronger.”
Ria raised her hand slightly, getting Shosai’s attention. “I have a question.” When she got a nod from the Elder Hitogata Demon, she continued. “You said that you could forge the Thunder Gem into a sword…but it’s too small for that, isn’t it?” Ria held up the small crystal from the table, it was only about three inches long and about half that in width.
Asami shook her head once. “It’s not that grandpa would hammer the Thunder Gem itself into a sword, that would just destroy it.” She held out her hand, palm up, and Ria handed her the crystal. “He’d make a billet and enclose the Thunder Gem within it before continuing to hammer it, trapping the Lightning Magic and the Fulmenite within the metal and imparting their properties into the blade he created.” Asami gently closed her hand around the Thunder Gem as an example of the process.
“Oh! That makes more sense.” Ria laughed at not thinking of such a thing.
“Now, exactly how many of each item are you wanting?” Shosai questioned Ria and Koh, trying to get the haggling back on track.
Koh quickly counted the number of the Koh Tribe in his head. “We’d want a steel knife for everyone… Myr is the only one that uses a battle axe, but a few steel axes for woodcutting would definitely be helpful.”
Ria nodded in agreement. “We have a lot of spearmen and most of them use shields as well. Should we focus on weapons over armor?” She could enchant equipment herself, as long as it was made of the proper materials. Strengthening their shields and armor shouldn’t be too difficult as she increased her experience with her Skill.
“Your enchantments on our bows and arrows are already great, Ria.” Koh smiled at his Mate warmly, making Ria smile back at him brightly. “We don’t need to worry about them. So, we should probably focus on spears and tools.” It was just a matter of how much they could get from Shosai and Asami for the bones of the Undead Primitive Demon. ‘Ideally we’d want a spear for every spearman, knives for every Tribe member, and plenty of good steel tools. But it would be a waste not to make use of Shosai’s skills to forge something powerful while we have truly unique material to give us the upper hand in negotiations.’
Ria leaned over to have a whispered conversation with Koh. “Do you think we could get enough for everyone and still get a few stronger weapons too?”
Koh had to smile at how well his and Ria’s thoughts matched up. “I was thinking the same thing. If we can manage it then we should do so, but getting the best deal for the Tribe as a whole might mean giving up on some stronger weapons.”
“Negotiation works better when you do it with the other party, you know?” Shosai commented on the whispered conversation that Ria and Koh were having.
“Well, we have close to forty tribe members. So, ideally we’d like a steel knife for each of them, about twenty spears, a battle axe, some woodcutting axes, maybe some machetes for clearing our way through the forest.” Koh told Shosai the number of members in the Tribe and what they’d like forged. “Can’t forget the sword with the Thunder Gem as material either.”
Ria thought for a moment before adding one thing. “A shortsword too; magical if possible.”
Asami moved to get some parchment and take notes on everything that the Hobgoblins wanted. It would be the largest amount of work that she’d done since coming to learn under her grandfather; if he agreed to the deal, of course.
Shosai considered everything that was listed off with a soft hum. ‘It’s quite a lot of pieces. Then again, the material they have is unique in the world, as far as I’ve ever heard.’ Given how old the Elder Hitogata Demon was, that was saying something. ‘I’ve made plenty of steel ingots in my spare time since I took up hermitage in the Silua Forest, so it’s not like we don’t have plenty of it. A good battle axe, a magical sword, a magical shortsword, twenty strong spears…that’s a good amount of work even if Asami handles the knives, the woodcutting axes, and the machetes.’
While Shosai thought over the items listed, both Koh and Ria finished off the tea that had been provided for them and waited for the Demonic Weaponsmith’s decision.
After several long moments, Shosai looked at Asami and the two Hitogata Demons clearly had a short back and forth of their own without words. A few facial expression changes and the rolling of Asami’s shoulders seemed to finish the conversation several seconds later.
“Alright then, we’ll agree to this deal.” Shosai said with a nod. “It’ll take a while to get everything done though. This many pieces is the largest workload we’ve had here in a long time.”
“There’s no rush.” Koh and Ria spoke at the same time. The two turned to look at each other before smiling at the unintentional synchronicity.
Asami grinned at the two Hobgoblins for being so cute together. “We’ll have quality pieces done and bring them to your area, if that’s agreeable.”
Koh agreed with a quick nod. “The Koh Tribe will welcome you as friends when you arrive.”
Shosai and Asami stood up, prompting Ria and Koh to do so as well. The Hitogata Demons gave a short bow to the Hobgoblins and they both returned it. The respect exchanged, the deal was made and all four were happy with the ease of negotiations.
“Do you want to stay for dinner?” Asami asked Koh and Ria politely.
Ria shook her head once. “We’d like to, but we have plans to make a detour on the way back home.”
“Another time then.” Shosai waved it off. “I’m sure we’ll be in contact from time to time.” The old demon mentioned with a chuckle. “Asami, after dinner we’ll start gathering all the materials. We’ll start bright and early tomorrow!”
“Yes, grandpa.” Asami said as she did the polite thing and walked Koh and Ria outside. “Forgive him, he forgets his manners when he puts his mind to work.”
Ria smiled at Asami. “Koh does the same thing.”
Koh looked off to the side. “I’m not that bad.”
The look Ria gave him disagreed and Koh decided that silence was the best course of action.
“I’m not sure just how long this will take to get everything made, but I’d estimate somewhere between twelve and fourteen days.” Asami gave them an estimate of when they could expect the large amount of weapons and tools to be ready.
“Until then.” Koh said with a smile.
“We’ll have the bones ready for you and Shosai when you arrive.” Ria promised with a smile of her own.
With farewells given both Koh and Ria left Shosai’s home and headed back into the forest. They were going to have to go a bit out of their way to reach the same place that Koh had originally found the materials for his Shaman Staff.
-Later-
“This looks familiar.” Koh joked as his Spirit Sight saw the multitudes of small Plant Spirits around this part of the forest.
“There’s the big tree.” Ria pointed at the much larger tree that had just come into view.
The massive tree was still easily three or four times thicker than any of the others in the area. It’s thick branches were full of lush green leaves and soft white flowers that almost seemed to shine in the sunlight that danced upon the ancient tree.
“Hello, old friend.” Koh greeted the ancient tree and the thousands of tiny Plant Spirits that floated around it and on every surface of the plant. What sounded like dozens of soft giggles were heard by the Shaman and he wondered if it was the tiny little Spirits, or if there were a few Intermediate level Spirits here that just didn’t show themselves. “I’m here in hopes of finding a new branch for another staff, if you’ve lost any.” He spoke to the Spirits with his Spirit Communication Skill.
Ria watched Koh speak with the Spirits that she couldn’t see, but felt the peacefulness of the clearing as if it was a physical blanket being draped over her shoulders. ‘It’s just like last year. Tranquil, peaceful, and you just feel something in the air.’
Koh heard a few more soft giggles before quite a few of the small Plant Spirits moved in a group towards an area between the large roots near the base of the ancient tree. Taking that as a sign, Koh followed them and dropped down between two of the large roots, only to nearly be buried in a cloud of the small motes of light that were the Plant Spirits. It was like being in a gentle, soft green mist to his Spirit Sight Skill. Looking at the leaf-littered ground between the two large roots, Koh saw what had attracted so many Spirits.
‘That’s a cool stick…’ Koh thought to himself as he gently picked up the long fallen branch.
It was almost as tall as Koh himself when one end was placed on the ground, the top reaching just above eye level. It was mostly straight, but with just a little twist to the wood, the slightly gnarled ‘top’ was a little larger than the rest of the long stick. The most interesting thing about the stick was the twist in the wood was two separate colors, showing that it had been two smaller branches that had twisted together as they grew until they’d fused into one.
“This fits in my hand really well.” Koh noticed that his larger Hobgoblin hand fit perfectly around the thinner portion of the long stick. It was also absolutely covered in the tiny Plant Spirits to the point that Koh was certain hundreds of them had to be residing within the wood itself where he couldn’t really see them.
Ria poked her head over the large root on Koh’s left with a smile. “Did you find a good one?” Seeing the unique-looking stick in her Mate’s hand, she smiled brightly at him. “I guess you did.”
Koh nodded at the stick before returning Ria’s cute smile with one of his own. “It’s a good stick.” He chuckled and hopped back up to the top of the huge root. Koh turned to face the ancient tree and gave it a bow. “Thank you, my friend. I know this staff will last me a very long time.”
The soft giggles passed by his ears again and Koh couldn’t help but smile and chuckle along with them.
“Should we look for more special feathers?” Ria asked while motioning towards the silvery feather that faded into black and the red and gold feather next to it that both hung from just below the Capra Horn Skull at the top of Koh’s current Shaman Staff. She’d found both of them last time they’d been here, but Koh hadn’t mentioned wanting or needing to replace them, so far.
“We can.” Koh said and held out his hand to Ria.
Ria happily took Koh’s hand and walked around the ancient tree with him. Even though they had to watch their footing with the large roots and the gaps between them, it was still an enjoyable walk under the shade as momentary streams of sunlight touched them briefly from the soft spring breeze gently rustling the foliage above the Hobgoblin couple. Even though they didn’t find any special feathers with Spirits clinging to them, both Koh and Ria were just happy to be together and enjoy the walk back to the Koh Tribe’s home hand-in-hand after they left the clearing of the venerable old tree and the thousands and thousands of Plant Spirits that resided with it.
-Koh Tribe ~ Evening-
Koh worked on transferring his many additions from his previous Shaman Staff to his new one. The Capra Horn Skull on top was easy enough, and the Lunar Wolf Fangs had been snugly embedded into the gnarled wood at the top. The two feathers were tied onto the staff with a thin strip of leather just like they had been on his previous one. The Fire and Wind Spirits that still clung to the magical feathers seemed to become a bit more active as they were joined with the huge amount of Plant Spirits that called his new staff home.
“Let’s see.” Koh used Analyze on the new staff.
[Spirit Wood Shaman Staff – Medium for Spirit Magic, Attuned to Plant, Fire, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark Aligned Spirits]
Koh blinked at the new term and Analyzed the term Spirit Wood specifically.
[Spirit Wood – Wood from ancient trees that house Intermediate or higher level Spirits]
“Huh… That was nice of them.” Koh couldn’t help but be happy that the Spirits of the ancient tree had gifted him such a nice branch to make his new staff from. It also confirmed for the Shaman that the old tree did indeed have Intermediate Spirits within it. ‘Or Spirits of an even higher level.’ Koh reminded himself to always be polite and respectful to the venerable old tree any time that he was in the area so that he didn’t anger powerful Spirits.
The smell of dinner in the air got Koh’s attention now that he was finally done with creating his new Medium. “Smells like venison tonight!” The young Chieftain grinned as his stomach rumbled.
“You better hurry, Chief!” Yog called out as the two passed each other in the eating area. “People are already asking if there’s enough for seconds!” The plate in his hands looked delicious with the venison steak on it.
“You gluttons better save some for your Chieftain!” Koh said with a fake authoritative voice before laughing as he headed towards the cooking area where Kay and Trok were serving up dinner to the Tribe.
-Day 346-
Klak Klak Klak Klak Klak
The alarm went off as the far lookout tower near the pond spotted something approaching. The two Hobgoblins in the tower quickly called out what they’d seen to everyone else.
“Two strangers approaching!” Jisa yelled down from the top of the lookout.
“They look human! They’re carrying a lot of stuff wrapped up in some kind of cloth!” Laya warned, never having seen something like this before.
Before the Tribe could start preparing to defend their home, Ria spoke up loudly. “Is one of them an older male and the other a younger female?”
“Yes, Priestess!” Laya confirmed quickly.
Ria nodded with a small smile. “Use Analyze when they’re close enough, they should be the Hitogata Demons, Shosai and Asami!”
Only a minute later and Jisa called out in a much calmer voice. “They’re the guests that Chief and Ria told us about!”
The tension that had been rising in the Koh Tribe’s home dissipated quickly as they prepared to welcome their guests.
Shosai and Asami marveled at the large wall of earth and stone that protected the Koh Tribe from the dangers of the forest. The gate was open and many of the Hobgoblins were looking at them curiously.
“I suppose this is normal, given they’ve never met any other Hitogata Demons.” Asami said as she and her grandfather were welcomed inside the wall.
“The fact that we’re carrying so much with us is probably just making them more curious.” Shosai chuckled at all the looks the large cloth wrapped object they were carrying got from the Koh Tribe.
Koh and Ria met the two craftsmen as they entered the gate.
“Welcome to the Koh Tribe, Shou Shosai and Shou Asami.” Koh greeted them both.
“We hope you’ll feel welcome and relaxed.” Ria smiled warmly. “Feel free to set your things down over here.” She had them follow her closer to the center of the flat area outside of the Koh Tribe’s cave home.
Shosai and Asami followed the War Priestess and set the cloth-wrapped package down gently.
“It took us a good amount of time, but we managed to make everything that you asked for at the best quality the materials could provide.” Shosai grinned as he and Asami unrolled the cloth to reveal everything inside.
“Oh!” The entire Koh Tribe said at the same time, making the exclamation resound within the walled area.
The rolled out cloth held twenty spears with steel spearheads and perfectly carved and smoothed wood shafts. Forty steel knives in their leather sheaths were spread out and secured to the large cloth with small straps of leather. A dozen steel machetes were next to the knives, all of them currently resting in their own sheaths as well. A dozen steel woodcutting axes were next to the machetes, all of them sharp and their edges covered in leather to prevent any damage to the cloth they’d been carried in. The last object in the cloth was a battle axe that looked like it could be wielded with either one or two hands, depending on the user’s preference.
“Twenty spears, forty knives, twelve machetes, twelves axes, and one battle axe.” Asami smiled at the Koh Tribe brightly, happy to see them all in awe of her and her grandfather’s work.
Shosai pulled a sword from his hip, scabbard and all, and presented it to Koh. “This is the sword you requested, Chieftain Koh. The Thunder Gem melded perfectly with the steel and the sword has inherited the Lightning Magic properties.”
Koh accepted the sword with a thankful smile. “Thank you, Shosai.” The scabbard was a simple black lacquered wood with nothing to give away that the sword it held was magical.
“Priestess Ria,” Shosai presented Ria with the shortsword that she’d asked for. “The shortsword you asked for, magical with enhanced durability and sharpness that won’t fade.” The scabbard was the same as the magical sword, simple black lacquered wood.
“Thank you very much, Shosai.” Ria smiled at the shortsword as she accepted it.
“Ria.”
“Koh.”
Koh and Ria blinked as they called out to each other at the same time. The couple laughed at how often they were speaking at the same time nowadays.
“This is for you.” Koh smiled lovingly at his Mate as he presented her the magical sword.
Ria laughed beautifully as she presented the shortsword to Koh. “This is for you, Koh.”
Now realizing that they’d both had the same idea to have a magical sword made for each other, Koh couldn’t help but laugh brightly as he accepted the shortsword while Ria took the magical sword from him happily.
“Wow…” Ria marveled at the magical sword as she unsheathed it. The steel blade had a slight purple tint to it, like lightning in the sky, and shone with an inner brilliance that was hard to describe.
“Give it a little mana and swing it.” Shosai instructed Ria with a confident grin.
Ria did as Shosai said, pouring her mana into the sword just like she did when she used her Skills.
Zzzttt
A spark of electricity arced off the sword for an instant and when Ria swung the blade lighting followed the arc and crackled through the air.
“A lightning blade!” Ria beamed at her new magical sword.
“Indeed.” Shosai laughed at Ria’s amazement at what was a simple (to his skills and experience) magical sword.
Asami motioned for Koh to look at his new shortsword. “Check it out, Chief Koh!” It was clear that she was excited to see his reaction.
Koh unsheathed the shortsword and his breath nearly caught in his throat. The blade wasn’t reflective, but it was close. A gorgeous luster in the metal made Koh wonder if this was really just steel. ‘Is this what being enchanted through forging does to metal?’ It was amazing if that was the case.
“Swing it, swing it!” Asami had a big grin on her face.
“Okay, let’s see…” Koh swung the blade and was amazed how easily the blade moved. ‘Like it’s cutting through the air… It’s as easy to move as my own hand.’ He couldn’t call this shortsword anything but magical given its performance and looks. “It’s amazing.” Koh praised the blade with a bright smile.
“Heh!” Asami puffed up proudly. “Thank you very much! It took me five days to make it!”
Koh was surprised that Asami had made the sword, but then mentally chastised himself. ‘It shouldn’t be a surprise. She’s a Magical Blacksmith, this much probably wasn’t even a true test of all her skills.’ He sheathed the shortsword and gave Asami a short bow. “Thank you very much for your hard work and skill, Asami.”
Asami was practically beaming at having her work praised. “You’re welcome! But…” She pointed towards Ria with a bright laugh. “It was her request and her gift to you.”
“You’re right.” Koh agreed with a grin before he moved over to Ria, intending to sweep her into a hug.
“Koh!” Ria nearly threw herself into Koh’s arms with a gorgeous smile. “I love my new sword!” She beamed at him before kissing him.
When the two separated a long moment later, Koh laughed and hugged Ria close. “You’re welcome, Ria. I love my shortsword too.”
“Hehehe…” Ria giggled happily as she snuggled into her Mate’s arms.
A respectful minute was given to the two of them before Shosai coughed to get their attention. When Koh and Ria turned to look at the Demonic Weaponsmith, they both grinned as they separated from each other.
“Sorry about that, Shosai.” Koh apologized with a grin. “The bones of the Undead Primitive Demon are inside.” He motioned with his head towards the cave. “Bring out the bones!” Koh called out and a dozen of the Hobgoblins quickly rushed towards the cave to retrieve the bones of the boar monster they’d dealt with weeks ago.
As soon as the large bones were brought out and laid on the cloth, Shosai was right beside them, carefully examining them with experienced eyes.
“Amazing.” Shosai’s eyes were practically glowing as he looked over the various bones. “The lingering magic is like nothing I’ve ever seen before.”
Asami was right beside her grandfather a second later, carefully picking up one of the large leg bones. “What kind of magic is this?” Her eyes ran along the length of the bone. “It’s powerful, but it’s not just the normal magic you’d find in a monster…”
While the two craftsmen were examining and marveling over their new material, the Koh Tribe was collecting their new weapons and tools. The spearmen of the Tribe were testing out their new spears, enjoying the weight and feel of the weapons. Myr was nearly drooling over his new battle axe as he hefted it and gave it a few test swings through the air. Even the steel knives that every member of the Tribe got were of amazing quality and expertly sharpened.
It took a little time for all of the new weapons and tools to be take into the cave home of the Koh Tribe for safekeeping. In that time, both Shosai and Asami had managed to calm their burning craftsman spirits and secured the bones of the Undead Primitive Demon within the large cloth before rolling it up. The cloth bugled out in odd spots due to some of the larger bones and the ribcage and skull both had to be left out due to their size, but the two Hitogata Demons were clearly ecstatic about the new material to work with.
“Would you two like to stay for lunch?” Ria asked Shosai and Asami kindly, her new sword resting on her hip so that she could start getting used to its weight.
“What’re you having?” Asami was quick to accept with a smile.
Ria smiled at the other girl. “Today we’re having fresh fish, courtesy of our fishermen.” Faye, Jisa, and Tay had been fishing most of the morning and had a lot of luck.
“Hm, been a while since we had fish at home.” Shosai chuckled as he followed after Ria and Asami towards the cooking area where the smell of herbs was beginning to fill the air. “After lunch we’ll head back and start planning out what we’ll use these bones for.”
-Night-
“Koh~” Ria surprised her Mate when he entered their room in the large cave home of the Koh Tribe. She was completely naked, showing off her breasts and the curves of her body. “I wanted to thank you for your gift~”
Koh took a second to respond, his mind obviously distracted by the beautiful sight before him. “You already thanked me…”
Ria grinned predatorily at Koh, showing off her sharp fangs before grabbing him and nearly throwing him onto their bed, pouncing on him a second later.
“Whoa!” Koh cried out in surprise at the eagerness and roughness that Ria was showing before she captured his lips in a searing kiss that she quickly deepened as their tongues began to play.
Outside of the Chieftain and Priestess’s room everyone quickly moved into their own rooms or just farther than they’d already been as the noise grew louder. Several of the females laughed or giggled at Ria’s obvious aggressiveness tonight. The males silently offered their support to their Chieftain, knowing their leader may not get much of any sleep tonight.

The Koh Tribe has the boon of properly forged steel tools and some weapons now!
Not to mention two magical swords! Even if they’re fairly basic as far as Magic Weapons go, they’re awesome and both Ria and Koh love them! Kek!
Koh also was able to make a stronger Shaman Staff! The tree spirits seem to like the Hobgoblin Shaman, huh? With a stronger staff to use as a Medium, that should make stronger Magic possible too!
Shosai and Asami are thrilled with their new material and have a ‘geek out’ moment! Heh! Who knows what they’ll craft from such a unique material!
With new tools and weapons the Koh Tribe’s future is looking even brighter! What will be their next move?
Ria seems to have an idea! Hehehe~
