AO3 Situation Update (Patreon)

Okay, my friends and fans, I've just spent the majority of last night into the early hours of the morning and all of today, after waking up late, going through ALL of the stories that AO3 has hidden, chapter by chapter, and getting them into compliance with AO3's TOS and I'm FINALLY done.

But I need to vent about one specific thing, if you'd all be so kind to put up with me:

AO3 themselves has confirmed that they do not use AI to scan works for infractions and rely ENTIRELY on user's reporting works that violate the TOS.

One of the works they hid, the MHA Plot Bunny Collection, was hidden because in Chapter 5 or 6, at the bottom of the post-chapter Author's Note, the line "A patron gave me this idea." was written.

That means a person had to have read through EVERY chapter including the pre-chapter and post-chapter Author's Notes, looking for the words 'Patreon' or Patron' just to report me.

I don't know what kind of grudge this person has against me to spend so much time reading through every chapter of all those fics, especially the 50+, 60+, 70+, and 80+ chapter ones, just to report them to AO3, but...damn. Having a grudge like that sounds exhausting. I'm literally too lazy to go through that much trouble and effort just to try and mess with someone on the internet that I dislike because they make a living off of internet writing.

Regardless, we'll see what AO3 says about my corrections and go from there, stories should be back up within the next 7 or 8 days.

Also, I apologize in advance that this has pushed updates back a day or so. As you all know, I'm a one-man show, and while I always do my best, sometimes life just doesn't let me get out all the updates that I want to each month. But look forward to the next update...probably tomorrow night if I can manage it.
