Now that the Lizardmen Tribes, and their territory, have been acquired by Nazarick; it’s time to check in on Sebas and Solution in the capital. While things certainly appear ‘okay’ in the largest city in the Re-Estize Kingdom, it doesn’t take more than a minute of looking to see the neglected and darker parts of the capital. But among the rabble, there might yet be a few good people still trying to do the right thing.

Chapter 18 – Men in the Kingdom, the Lost Sister

The sun had just begun to peek over the horizon, turning night into day, in the capital city of the Re-Estize Kingdom. Through the slats of wooden window covers in one house, the rays of sunlight touched the face of a man and stirred him awake.

“Mnnn…” Brain grumbled out as he slowly opened his eyes, only to jolt upright in fear before his surroundings came into clarity. “Where?” He tried to recall where he was and the memory of his last waking moments filled his mind.

-Flashback-

“Unglaus… You are Brain Unglaus, right?” Gazef asked Brain as the other swordsman looked at him.

“…Stronoff?” Brain asked, his eyes barely open from days of little sleep and almost no food. He didn’t even seem to care about the cold rain pouring down on him.

Gazef took a step forward. “What…happened to you?” It was obvious that something had gone wrong for a swordsman of Brain’s caliber to be reduced to staying in an alley in the rain like some vagrant.

Brain hung his head, his blue hair hanging in front of his face. “Stronoff… It’s broken.” Gazef looked down at the katana in Brain’s hands, obviously thinking Brain meant his sword first, only to find no sign that the weapon was damaged. “…tell me. Are we strong?” Brain asked the Head Warrior of the kingdom.

Gazef thought back to how he’d been saved by Ainz Ooal Gown. ‘If that Caster hadn’t come to my rescue…all of my men and I would’ve died. I’m supposedly the strongest in the kingdom, but that was the extent of my strength.

“Weak!” Brain said with sudden strength, clenching the scabbard of his sword tightly. “We’re weak…only human. Our skills with swords are garbage… Humans…we belong to an inferior race.”

“I don’t understand.” Gazef said, looking at Brain’s worn and soaked form. “Doesn’t every warrior know that? That humans are weak. There are heights to aspire to. That’s why we train ourselves to win, right?” ‘Believing that we’ll get there someday is what keeps most warriors training their whole lives.’ He thought in the privacy of his mind.

Brain’s eyes locked onto Gazef, wide and almost furious. “NO! I don’t mean at that level!” He took a step forward, raising his head to face Gazef for the first time since their conversation had started. “Stronoff! There are true peaks that can’t be reached even with hard work! Humans could never hope to even touch them! In the end, we’re nothing more than children with sticks! It’s just the grown-up version of those knight games we used to play as kids!”

Gazef felt like he was now getting closer to understanding what had reduced Brain to this state. “…you saw something that far beyond our grasp?”

“I did. I learned.” Brain shook his head once, his soaked blue bangs flicking some water through the rain still pouring down on them both. “…no. What I saw wasn’t even so high. I wasn’t even capable of seeing the true summits.”

“So if you train to be able to glimpse that peak…” Gazef tried to encourage Brain, only to be cut off.

“YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!!!” Brain roared out, his eyes wide and panicked. “No human could ever approach that monster’s ability! You could swing your sword an infinite number of times but you’ll never reach it!” The energy he’d mustered up faded, like a flame snuffed out by the falling rain, a forlorn smile on his face to reflect his inner despair. “…what a joke. What was I even aiming for?”

Gazef looked at Brain and truly realized what was wrong with the other swordsman now. ‘The thing that’s broken…is his spirit.’ He hated seeing the man that had once given him such a great fight reduced to this. “…Unglaus.”

Brain turned away from Gazef and started to walk away, heading deeper into the alleyway. “…I’m glad that I got to see you at the end. Now…I can die.”

Gazef’s eyes snapped wide and he took two long strides forward. “Wait!” His hand came down on Brain’s shoulder firmly. “Wait, Brain Unglaus!” He turned the other man around to face him, noticing that Brain still had the toned and strong muscles of a well-trained swordsman, meaning that his spirit couldn’t have been broken for long.

“…what are you doing?” Brain asked, his eyes nearly dead.

“We’re going to my house.” Gazef said with a tone that brooked no argument as he started dragging Brain along.

“Stop it. Don’t try to save me.” Brain tried to shrug off Gazef’s hand with no success. “I want to die… I’m tired of being scared. No more jumping at shadows, thinking someone’s coming up behind me.”

Gazef was having none of it. “Shut up.” He dragged Brain along with a stronger grip, not giving the broken swordsman a chance to wander off and end his life. “Follow me. You’re going to change out of those wet clothes, eat, and then go to sleep.”

-End Flashback-

“Oh…right.” Brain ran his fingers through his hair. “So… This is the room that the Royal Chief Warrior offers his guests, huh?” The room he’d woken up in was rather plain, with just the bed in the corner and a table on one side of the room. “If one of his men stayed here, I’d bet they’d be disappointed.” He stretched a bit, feeling his joints pop here and there, before letting out a sigh. “Guess it’s not really any of my business.” Looking at his hand, he saw that it still shook slightly. “Still can’t stop shaking…”

He’d fled from Shalltear Bloodfallen in absolute terror, leaving behind the rest of the Death Spreading Brigade to die without a second thought. He’d run for days, heading straight for the capital entirely because he believed that the larger crowds would make him harder to find. But he was still terrified deep down to his bones, even after making so much distance and hiding within the capital.

Brain closed his eyes and took a deep breath before letting it out slowly. Opening his eyes, he looked over to his sword, resting against the table where his clothes had been washed and folded during the time he’d been asleep. “What…should I do?” He asked himself quietly. ‘I’ve kept swinging my sword all this time to defeat Gazef… But…now that I’ve seen the heights, is there even a point anymore?

“Unglaus.” Gazef’s voice came through the wooden door of the bedroom. “Are you up?”

“Yeah, Stronoff. I’m awake.” Brain answered as he tossed the blanket off of himself and turned to sit on the edge of the bed.

The door opened and Gazef gave Brain a short nod and a small smile at seeing him looking much better than before. “I’m surprised how well you slept.”

Brain put his hands on his knees and gave Gazef a short bow of thanks. “Yeah, thanks for the good night’s rest. I feel bad.”

“No worries. But I have to head to the castle now.” Gazef waved off Brain’s concerns. “When I get back, tell me what happened to you. If we talk over drinks, I’m should be able to handle it.” He very much wanted to know the full story of what had made a swordsman of Brain’s caliber into the broken wreck he’d practically pulled out of the gutter. “And…” He tossed a small money bag of copper and silver coins to Brain, smiling slightly when the other man easily caught it. “…if you’re going into the city, use that. You’ll need a little money.”

“Thanks. I’ll borrow this then.” Brain said as he tested the weight of the small bag in his hand. Gazef nodded before leaving the room and closing the door behind him. “What to do?” Brain sighed as he stood up from the bed and reached for his clothing.

-Momonga’s Bedroom ~ Nazarick-

It was a bit later in the morning when Momonga stirred from his slumber. The warmth and softness he was pressed up against was so good that Momonga didn’t want to move. Inhaling brought a pleasant scent to his nose and without thinking about it, Momonga nuzzled into the warm softness more.

“Oooh~” Albedo’s soft little moan filled the air near Momonga’s ear.

Oh, that’s right.’ Momonga recalled how he and Albedo had ended up in bed together last night. Still enjoying the warmth and comfort, he gently tightened his hold around Albedo’s waist to pull her closer, if that was possible. The softness against his cheek and face was definitely Albedo’s large breasts, and Momonga couldn’t help the masculine desire to stay right where he was and enjoy them.

Albedo clearly had no problem with that as she softly ran her fingers through Momonga’s long black hair while holding him against her naked body. She said not a word, even though she knew Momonga was awake now.

The two just enjoyed their closeness—and a bit of laziness—for a while longer before they knew they’d have to get up.

“Good morning, Albedo.” Momonga said after several minutes, finally pulling his face from her bosom and looking into Albedo’s bright yellow eyes.

“Good morning, my Lord Momonga~” Albedo greeted her lord and love with a warm smile. “I hope you slept well.”

Momonga nodded with a lazy little smile. “Best sleep ever, Albedo, thank you.” The way Albedo’s face lit up and her black feathered wings lightly flapped behind her showed just how happy she was from the praise. “I appreciate your devotion to my wellbeing.” He told her with sincerity before leaning close and kissing her soft lips.

“Mmm…” Albedo happily returned the kiss; her heart filled to overflowing with love and joy. “I live to make you happy, my love~” She said once their lips separated. “Shall I help you bathe, my lord?”

That question made Momonga consider what the correct answer was. ‘We slept together naked…but didn’t do anything beyond that. However, I did promise all of the women that have feelings for me that I would be better for them, worthy of their feelings.’ Deciding that they’d already seen all of each other last night, and having never had the opportunity for a relationship with a woman back in his old world, Momonga felt like bathing together wasn’t a huge leap in their relationship. “Very well, Albedo.” He pressed a gentle kiss to her lips again, seeing how it made Albedo light up with joy made Momonga smile.

“I’ll draw the bath for us!” Albedo exclaimed brightly as she tossed the blanket off of them and slipped off the bed. As she stood up, her long raven black hair cascaded down her back and her black feathered wings stretched out. Feeling Momonga’s gaze on her body, Alebdo’s eyes went half-lidded as she looked over her shoulder at him with a smoldering gaze. “Do you enjoy the sight of my body, Lord Momonga?” She asked breathily, cocking her hips to accentuate her curves and make her ass jiggle slightly.

“You’re gorgeous, Albedo.” Momonga told her honestly, drinking in the sight of the naked Succubus’s ass.

Albedo giggled happily before turning around to show off for her love more. “Please, my lord, enjoy all of my body however you wish~” She raised her hands and threaded her fingers through her long hair, posing sexily so that Momonga could see her face, her large breasts, her flat tummy, her trim waist, her wide, child-bearing hips, her mound with the trimmed black curls above it, and her thick and healthy thighs. “It fills me with endless joy to know that my body pleases you.”

Momonga smiled and admired Albedo’s beauty for a long moment, the Succubus leaning forward to let her large tits bounce and show off their size before she cupped them with her hands and gently massaged them, teasing her hard nipples for Momonga’s viewing pleasure. With a moan like a sultry purr, Albedo began to walk towards the ensuite bathroom with a sway in her hips, making her ass bounce with each step as she reveled in the feeling of Momonga’s eyes on her rear until she disappeared into the bathroom.

Definitely made the right choice.’ Momonga though to himself with a big grin on his face as he rested on the bed for a long moment. Just as he got out of the bed, Albedo stood in the doorway to the bathroom, posing as she leaned against the doorframe with a sexy smile on her lips.

“My lord, your bath is ready~” Albedo purred out, eagerly drinking in the sight of Momonga’s naked body as he stood up from the bed and started walking towards her. Her almost glowing yellow eyes locked onto Momonga’s length as it swayed in the air, making her desire rise even more.

“Thank you, Albedo.” Momonga thanked her for drawing the bath as he entered the large bathroom.

Albedo was gently pressed up against his back a second later, her soft hands running along his torso with both reverence and desire. “Rest easy, my lord. I shall ensure that every inch of your body is cleaned before you relax in the bath~” She guided him to sit on a washing stool as she pulled a showerhead with a long hose from the wall and began soaking Momonga’s body and her own.

Momonga hummed pleasantly as Albedo’s soft hands ran over his body as she soaked him with warm water. When she got a bath sponge wet and lathered up with soap, she began to wash his body, starting with his face, stealing a kiss from his lips when his eyes were closed before she rinsed the soap away with the showerhead. Albedo giggled softly as she began to scrub Momonga’s body clean with loving devotion, washing his shoulders, his arms, his hands, his torso and sides, his legs and feet, and then she covered her large tits in thick soapy lather before pressing them against Momonga’s back and rubbing them up and down against his skin.

“Albedo…” Momonga let out a breath, never having expected to receive this treatment in his life. The slippery soap and the softness of Albedo’s large tits moving against his back felt incredible.

“Mmm, yes, my lord Momonga~” Albedo breathed out hotly into Momonga’s ear before leaving a soft kiss on it while pressing her soapy tits against his back more firmly. She wanted nothing more than to make her beloved happy and please him in all ways.

Momonga surprised Albedo—and himself—when he turned and pulled Albedo into his arms, hugging her while switching their positions. “My turn.” He said as he took the soapy sponge and the showerhead from Albedo’s hands and began to wash her body.

Albedo gasped happily, but then looked over her shoulder at Momonga. “M-My lord, you shouldn’t lower yourself to… Mmm~” She trailed off into a moan as Momonga kissed her lips once. She had nothing else to say against him washing her as she eagerly surrendered to his hands. “Oooh…” She moaned lowly as Momonga’s hands cupped her tits and began to massage them, lightly teasing her hard nipples as they were covered in soap again.

“Tub.” Momonga said after rinsing Albedo’s body of all soap.

The two were soon in the tub together, Momonga lying back against the back of the tub while Albedo happily sat between his legs, leaning back on his chest. The warmth of the water was soothing, and Albedo giggled softly as she felt her beloved’s hardness against her ass while his hands gently played with her tits. The Succubus was reveling in the attentions and affection of Momonga and laid her head back on his shoulder at his silent insistence. The two spent quite a bit of time just lounging in the tub together after that, but eventually left the tub.

“[Flame Cloak].” Momonga cast and was engulfed in a localized inferno that dried him near instantly before he cancelled the spell. Stretching out his wings, he watched Albedo drying herself off with a towel, the Succubus clearly stretching her long legs and moving her body sensually on purpose as he watched. The way her yellow eyes smoldered as she looked at the equally naked Momonga the entire time naturally had an effect on him.

“My Lord Momonga~” Albedo dropped the towel to the floor as she walked towards him, her black feathered wings spreading wide behind her to make sure that all of her body was revealed to him. “May I?” She asked, her eyes trailing down his form to rest on his hard length.

At this point, Momonga felt almost the same need as Albedo, so he nodded to the Succubus. “Yes, Albedo.”

Albedo’s smile was beautiful as she took Momonga’s hand in her own and led him out of the bathroom and towards the large bed. Letting her beloved sit down, Albedo kneeled between his legs and pressed her face against his hard length, breathing in the masculine scent as her entire body trembled in pleasure. Momonga’s eyes locked with Albedo’s as she kissed up and down his length before kissing the tip and then letting her tongue out to lick it. Momonga inhaled sharply at the pleasure, something completely unknown to him until now, and seeing the please smile on Albedo’s lips, he let her continue her oral ministrations.

“Mmm~” Albedo hummed in delight at finally getting to taste her beloved’s cock. Without a single thought beyond pleasing Momonga in her mind, she gently took his cock in one hand before moving it upwards so she could place her lips on the base of the underside of his shaft then she licked up from the base to the tip in one long motion. Hearing the low moan from Momonga, Albedo shivered in bliss as she began to stroke his cock with one hand. Seeing her love looking down at her, Albedo opened her mouth, letting her tongue loll out before she took his tip into her mouth, swirling her tongue around it with a muffled moan as she tasted his precum.

“Albedo…” Momonga groaned lowly at this new pleasure. The way that Albedo looked up at him so lovingly and with devotion was a thrill of its own that Momonga had never experienced before.

Albedo proved her Succubus nature as she eagerly began to bob her head, taking more and more of Momonga’s length into her mouth with each motion. Her hand stroked the part of his cock that she wasn’t taking into her mouth in a perfect matching rhythm to her bobbing head, leaving no part of Momonga’s shaft untouched.

Momonga let out a low rumble from deep within his chest as he lost himself in the pleasure that Albedo was giving him. “Albedo… That’s so intense…” He praised the Succubus, only to choke on his breath and look down with wide, shocked eyes as Albedo had removed her hand from his cock and taken his entire length into her mouth and down her throat. The intense blowjob was made even more incredible as Albedo practically fucked her face onto Momonga’s cock, swallowing on his length every time that it was buried in her throat.

“Gakh! Gagkh!” Albedo made loud, sloppy noises as she deepthroated Momonga, her yellow eyes practically glowing as she expressed her love and lust for the one she loved above all else. The intensity of her blowjob only increased even more when Momonga, in a fit of passion, grabbed her curved horns and took control of her head and how fast she bobbed up and down his cock. “MMMPH!!!” Albedo’s muffled moan was still loud as one hand went to massage Momonga’s balls while her other hand moved straight down to her soaked sex and she began to play with herself, delving three fingers into her pussy with rapid strokes as she moaned and gagged around Momonga’s cock.

“Albedo! Albedo!” Momonga panted out, still holding Albedo’s horns, but now keeping her head still as he thrusted his hips forward and buried his length into the Succubus’s eager, hot mouth and throat. The gagging sounds that Albedo made were incredibly lewd and some part of Momonga’s mind wondered why he was so turned on by them. But seeing how feverishly Albedo was playing with herself from his rough and passionate treatment, all questions quickly left his mind. Feeling Albedo’s soft hand massaging his balls was also pushing Momonga closer and closer to his release and he barely managed a warning. “Albedo… I’m close!”

“Mmph!” Albedo nearly threw her head forward, taking Momonga as deep as possible, her lips wrapped around the base of his length as she swallowed on his cock that was in her throat as if she was trying to coax out his load. The milking of her tight throat combined with her hand massaging his balls sent Momonga crashing over the edge. “MMMM~” Albedo’s muffled moan practically dripped with sinful delight as she swallowed down her beloved’s load one gulp at a time. Her yellow eyes nearly rolling up in her head as she crashed into her own orgasm from the sensation along with her skillful fingers teasing her sex.

Momonga would swear he saw stars as he took deep breaths to recover from the most powerful orgasm of his life. “Mnn…” He grunted and looked down, locking eyes with Albedo as she suckled on his entire length as she slowly pulled her head back, her tongue swirling around his girth the whole time to clean off any trace of his seed. It was an incredibly sexy sight and Momonga couldn’t pull his eyes away if he tried.

“Pah!” Albedo released the head of Momonga’s cock with a little pop, savoring the taste of his thick seed as it coated her tongue. Without hesitation, she opened her mouth and looked up at Momonga, showing him all of the thick seed that she’d collected as she used her tongue to play with it.

For Momonga, who’d only seen such things in porn back in his old world, he could hardly believe how amazing the experience was. Going with what he wanted, he looked into Albedo’s nearly glowing yellow eyes and gave her an order. “Swallow.”

Albedo’s entire body shivered in pleasure at the command and her black feathered wings shook a little from the stimulation. Closing her mouth, she tilted her head back, making sure that Momonga could see her throat move as she happily swallowed the last of his thick seed down in two gulps. “Aaahhh~” She opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue a second later to show her beloved that she’d swallowed everything, just as ordered.

“You’re incredible, Albedo.” Momonga praised her, gently running his fingers through her long, soft, raven black hair.

“Your praise is too much, my lord~” Albedo purred in happiness as she nearly nuzzled into his hand. “You’ve graced this unworthy servant with your divine essence. I couldn’t be happier.”

Momonga felt some masculine pride for the first time in a very long time at Albedo’s words. He continued to stroke her hair before gently urging her to stand up. Once Albedo stood before him in all of her naked glory, Momonga pulled her into his lap and kissed her cheek while running his hands over her soft skin, playing her breasts and her groping her ass, much to Albedo’s pleasure and joy as she moaned from Momonga’s exploring hands.

“Love you, Albedo.” Momonga said with warmth and affection into the Succubus’s ear before kissing it softly.

Albedo’s eyes widened before she graced Momonga with the most beautiful smile. “M-My lord…Momonga…” She kissed him deeply as he held her close, her entire body practically vibrating with pleasure as her heart overflowed with love for Momonga. “Love you too, so much, more than I can ever express!” She said between eager kisses, reveling in their closeness and that all of her feelings were returned by the one she loved.

The two would end up leaving Momonga’s bed chambers only a minute before the morning Homunculus maid came to begin her shift of looking after Momonga. Albedo was practically walking on air and radiating vitality to anyone that saw her, which became a small issue right after breakfast when Shalltear came to give her morning greeting to Momonga as he’d instructed her to do.

-Momonga’s Office-

“Good morning to you, my Lord Momonga.” Shalltear greeted the Supreme One with a proper curtsy in her ballroom gown. Her red eyes drank in her beloved lord’s visage, seeing him looking exceptionally relaxed and full of energy today made her happy. Her mood decreased a bit when her red eyes fell on Albedo, seeing the Succubus with a smile on her face that was clearly happy, but hiding smugness behind it as their eyes met. The near radiant glow of Albedo’s eyes and skin also strongly hinted at the Guardian Overseer having gotten to indulge in her species favored activity and that she’d ‘fed’ as well.

“Good morning to you as well, Shalltear.” Momonga returned her greeting with a warm smile that made Shalltear’s heart flutter. “I trust you’ve been taking care of yourself well?”

Shalltear nodded with a smile. “Yes, my lord. Now that I’ve received your punishment for my foolish mistake, I feel as though I’ve had a spike removed from my heart.” She looked into his ever-changing eyes of myriad colors happily. “I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and grace towards such an undeserving servant.”

Momonga’s smile shrank a little as he noticed that Shalltear and Albedo were clearly shooting looks at each other. Even a complete fool wouldn’t miss the growing tension between the two women. Looking towards the Homunculus maid on duty this morning, Momonga spoke. “Cixous,”

The Homunculus maid stood up as straight as possible at being addressed by the Supreme One. “Yes, my lord!” She asked, her eyes bright, eager to assist Momonga in any way that she possibly could.

“Could you bring a fresh cup of tea from the kitchens for me?” Momonga requested with a small smile.

“Of course, my lord! I will return shortly!” Cixous bowed properly and was quickly out the door as fast as she could be while maintaining proper decorum. She practically skipped towards the kitchens at getting to serve the Supreme One, her happiness apparent from her bright smile.

With Cixous gone for a short time, and both Albedo and Shalltear now blatantly eyeing each other, the Succubus’s smile having become smug while the True Vampire glared at her; Momonga made his move to settle the tension before it could escalate any further.

“Shalltear, come here, please.” Momonga motioned for her to come stand beside him. Shalltear bowed in acknowledgement of his order and walked around his desk, only to light up in joy as Momonga pulled her into his lap and kissed her lips.

“Mmm~” Shalltear moaned in bliss, her tongue playing with Momonga’s as he held her flush against his chest. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and pressed herself against him all the more, eager to feel him against her and cover herself in his scent. “Ooh… My lord…” Shalltear cooed out as Momonga’s hand trailed down her back and cupped her ass over her dress.

Albedo watched on as Momonga gave Shalltear love and affection. Her smile didn’t fade in the slightest though. Her body was still pleasantly tingling from her morning with her beloved. She even lightly licked her lips as a particularly loud moan from Shalltear brought the taste of her beloved to her mind vividly. ‘It’s only natural that Lord Momonga would give love to all of his harem~’ The happy Succubus thought to herself as she watched Shalltear revel in their beloved’s affection.

Momonga pulled his lips from Shalltear’s, only to kiss her cheek and then her neck. With a moan, Shalltear tilted her head to the side, offering her love more access to her neck, which he began to kiss, lick, and nibble on, much to her delight as she ground her hips against Momonga while one of his hands continued to grope her ass and the other ran though her long silvery hair in her ponytail. Shalltear moaned hotly, her breaths coming in eager gasps as she nearly submerged herself in all of the sensations that her beloved was giving her.

“Shalltear…” Momonga looked deeply into Shalltear’s blood red eyes, making her coo, before he kissed her lips again. Feeling how eagerly Shalltear returned his kiss, Momonga wanted to give her more and slipped his tongue into her mouth, feeling Shalltear’s tongue rush to meet his as they deepened into a French kiss. With a playful idea, Momonga withdrew his tongue back into his mouth and immediately welcomed Shalltear’s tongue as it chased after his. Then he bit his tongue just hard enough to draw blood, his skills helping nullify the pain. He felt Shalltear’s body twitch and go still in his arms as her tongue touched his blood…then she trembled in ecstasy with a muffled moan into his mouth as she orgasmed.

“Mmph~” Shalltear moaned as her tongue lengthened and eagerly, but gently, wrapped around Momonga’s. Tasting his divine blood again made her climax near instantly and she reveled in the delicious taste and the exquisite pleasure it brought her. ‘My beloved Lord Momonga!’ Shalltear cried out in her mind as she was once more graced with his divine blood through a deep, love-filled French kiss while they were pressed against each other, their hands roaming and exploring each other’s bodies.

Momonga gently pulled back once his tongue had healed and he smiled warmly at Shalltear in his lap as the True Vampire looked up at him with smoldering red eyes overflowing with desire. “It makes me happy to see you so pleased, Shalltear.” He said to her softly, his hand gently cupping her cheek.

Shalltear nuzzled into Momonga’s hand, eager for more of his touch and his warmth. “Love you, my lord~” She cooed to him in blissful joy.

“I love you too, Shalltear.” Momonga told her warmly, his eyes looking into hers to convey his truest feelings.

“My Lord Momonga, loves me…” Shalltear seemed to take a second to process before she gave him a gorgeous smile and kissed him softly, humming in contentment when Momonga returned the gentle kiss. She happily snuggled up in Momonga’s lap, laying her head on his chest and listening to his heartbeat for a little while, perfectly happy to be held and cherished for as long as possible before their duties forced them to separate.

On her way back to Momonga’s office, Cixous was humming happily as she carried a tray with a fresh cup of tea for the Supreme One. When she saw Shalltear heading her way, Cixous stopped and gave a proper bow to the Floor Guardian, while making sure not to upset the tea on the tray. Shalltear gave the Homunculus maid a smile and a nod as she passed on her way to take care of her duties for the day.

“Maybe it’s just me, but Lady Shalltear looked absolutely radiant, even compared to when I saw her just a bit ago.” Cixous said to herself as she looked at Shalltear’s back as the woman continued walking with a spring in her step. The way the True Vampire’s almost snow white skin had practically glowed and her blood red eyes seemed to shimmer gave her a radiance of vitality and beauty that was impossible to miss. “Ah, Lord Momonga’s tea!” Cixous shook herself and focused on her task, smiling happily as she walked down the corridor until she got to Momonga’s office.

-Colosseum ~ Sixth Floor-

Momonga teleported into the Colosseum with his Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown. As expected, he saw Lupusregina training with Clementine, the Werewolf and Weretiger exchanging blows over and over, though it was clear that Clementine still wasn’t anywhere close to matching Lupusregina yet.

“Lord Momonga!” Aura leapt down from the stadium seating as soon as she spotted him with a bright smile. She kicked up a small cloud of dust as she landed before running over to him happily. “Did you come to check on Lupusregina’s training of Clementine?” She asked, looking up at Momonga with her heterochromatic eyes bright and curious.

“Indeed, Aura.” Momonga nodded, giving the Dark Elf a smile as he softly patted her head.

Aura nuzzled into Momonga’s hand happily, giggling at the simple affection. “Clementine has gotten better, but she’s still no match for Lupusregina.” She said with a grin.

Momonga nodded in agreement. “So it seems. But there are moments where Clementine’s greater combat experience shines through.” One such moment happened as Momonga spoke, with Clementine activating a Martial Art a second before Lupusregina’s large weapon was about to hit her, allowing the blonde woman to slip past the weapon and thrust her stiletto straight towards the battle maid’s neck.

“Huh, she’s getting closer to actually landing a hit.” Aura blinked in surprise that the thrust was only knocked away a short distance from actually touching Lupusregina’s neck. “Still not enough though.” She shook her head as Lupusregina smacked Clementine away with her Crosier.

“Is Mare not around?” Momonga asked Aura, not seeing the Dark Elf boy.

Aura blinked as she looked around before her eyes narrowed on the VIP Box. “MARE! Lord Momonga has come to visit! Get down here!”

Mare’s yelp could be heard even from a distance.

“Lord Momonga!” Lupusregina called out, having been alerted to his presence by Aura’s loud yell. The Werewolf woman beamed at seeing Momonga again.

Clementine’s red eyes widened, not having expected to see Momonga today, and she quickly kneeled and bowed her head to the God that ruled over the Great Tomb of Nazarick. “My lord, it’s good to see you again.”

Momonga smiled at them both and motioned for them to approach. Lupusregina happily walked over quickly. Clementine followed behind her current superior respectfully, though a small smile was on her lips at getting to see Momonga again. When the two women were close enough, Momonga greeted them both. “Lupusregina, Clementine, good morning to you both. I’m pleased to see that your training is progressing well.”

“Thank you, Lord Momonga.” Lupusregina smiled and bowed at the waist. She was thrilled with the praise from her lord and crush.

Clementine bowed deeply to Momonga for his praise. “Thank you very much, my lord. I’m still lacking, but I will keep working hard to become useful to Nazarick.”

“Very good, Clementine. Your dedication to Nazarick pleases me greatly.” Momonga said to the Weretiger, noticing briefly that she seemed to be blushing.

“Lord Momonga, I’m sorry for my tardiness!” Mare apologized as he entered the arena floor from one of the many entryways around the perimeter. “I just think it’s rude not to use the stairs that the Supreme Beings made.” He explained why he’d not just jumped down from the VIP Box like Aura would do.

Momonga smiled down at Mare and gently patted the boy’s head, making Mare squeak even as he smiled brightly. “I’m sure that Blue Planet would be thrilled to hear that you respect his creation so much, Mare.”

Aura, Mare, and Lupusregina all gave a second of reverent pause at the mention of another Supreme Being. Then Mare blushed brightly at the fact that Lord Blue Planet, the creator of the Floor that he and Aura guarded, would appreciate his thoughtfulness.

“Do you really think so, Lord Momonga?” Mare asked, looking up at Momonga with wide eyes.

“I know so, Mare.” Momonga assured him with a smile. Blue Planet had held IRL meetups back in his own world a few times and was one of the few members of Ainz Ooal Gown that Momonga had been able to meet in person on more than one occasion. The rough-looking man had been surprisingly gentle, and a bit of a romantic, his love of nature and wanting to recreate the ‘ideal world in his heart’ had been what had led to the creation of the Sixth Floor in its current form.

Mare looked absolutely thrilled, his heterochromatic eyes practically shining that his thoughtfulness would be appreciated by a Supreme Being. “Thank you for telling me, Lord Momonga!”

Momonga looked at Clementine’s kneeling form and he placed a hand gently atop her head, right between her fluffy tiger ears, and petted her softly. “Keep working hard, Clementine. I will have a reward for you once you’ve proven yourself as an asset to Nazarick.”

“Your thanks are more than enough, my lord.” Clementine said, even as she purred softly from the gentle affection being shown to her. How a place full of literal monsters like Nazarick could be better than her life growing up, in terms of care shown, still boggled her mind. Her tail swaying behind her got Momonga’s attention and he couldn’t help think it cute as he pulled his hand away from Clementine’s head.

Lupusregina smiled as Momonga looked at her. “Yes, my lord?”

“I’ll be going with you to Carne Village this morning, Lupusregina. I’d like an update on the village’s progress while we tour it.” Momonga said, making Lupusregina perk up at getting to spend more time with him. “I will find a suitable reward for all your hard work soon.” He surprised the Pleiades Battle Maid slightly when he gently cupped her cheek and smiled warmly at her.

“Your gentle affection is already reward enough, my lord.” Lupusregina hummed happily as she nuzzled into his hand. ‘Lord Momonga is being so affectionate with me~’ She thought to herself, reveling in the gentle touch against her cheek.

Momonga felt a gentle tug on his silvery robe and looked down to see Aura looking up at him with red cheeks, but a clear want in her green and blue eyes. With a gentle smile and a small chuckle, he leaned down a bit and placed a chaste kiss on Aura’s forehead, making the girl’s blush nearly explode as she hugged him and buried her face into his robe. Momonga placed his hand atop Aura’s head and gently patted it to soothe her as she clearly needed a moment to get her emotions under control.

“Cute~” Lupusregina said with a grin, seeing Aura’s pointed ears wiggle just slightly from happiness.

-Carne Village-

It was late morning when Momonga and Lupusregina arrived in Carne Village with [Greater Teleportation]. The villagers all greeted Lord Ainz Ooal Gown with smiles and reverence, as they always did since he’d saved them. Lupusregina happily showed her lord around, the two walking arm in arm, much to the Werewolf woman’s delight. She reported the improvements to the village’s defenses and the improving food situation thanks to the troop of Goblins that Enri had summoned with the ‘Horn of the Goblin General’ item that he’d given to the young woman on the day he’d saved Carne Village from the Sunlight Scripture.

“Lord Gown.” Enri Emmot smiled and bowed to the savior of her village when she saw him. Every time the lord arrived, one of the goblins would come to get her as fast as possible. ‘Why they always call Lord Gown ‘that guy’ like he’s a potential threat is a bit odd though.’ She thought in the privacy of her mind, wondering what about Lord Gown seemed to unsettle the Goblins. The only thing she could think of was that it was because Lord Gown was such an immensely powerful Caster.

“Miss Emmot, good morning to you. It’s nice to see you again.” Momonga greeted the young woman, seeing that she looked a bit happier than the last time he’d seen her. According to Lupuregina, Enri and Nfirea had started a relationship and both had grown closer recently, so that might explain it.

Enri smiled at how kind Lord Gown was to greet a commoner girl like her so politely. “And a good morning to you as well, Lord Gown. Are you here to see Nfie?”

Momonga nodded once. “I wouldn’t mind checking in on him and Miss Lizzie. Hearing about the progress they’re making with new potion recipes is always a boon to the day.” With the jar of Basilisk blood that he’d given the two brilliant apothecaries, he was certain that they’d have improved on a recipe or two by now. “Is Miss Brita around, by chance?” He asked after the woman that he’d brought to the village but hadn’t been able to see last time.

“I believe so. She and Mr. Latimon brought back a good sized deer yesterday.” Enri said with a happy smile, always grateful for the improved food security that having a new Ranger and the troop of Goblins hunting helped bring in for the village.

“Then I believe I’ll go see her first, before visiting Lizzie and Nfirea.” Momonga said as he gave Enri a smile and a nod before heading off with Lupusregina.

“See ya later, Enri!” Lupusregina called back over her shoulder with a grin as she was still arm in arm with Momonga.

Once the two had reached Brita’s home in the village, they saw the new Ranger taking care of her blade, the sword from her Adventurer days moving smoothly across a whetstone as Brita’s blue eyes focused on it. Momonga and Lupusregina waited for a moment before Brita seemed to notice them and shot upright with a little yelp.

“L-Lord Gown! Miss Lupusregina!” Brita managed to get out before bowing politely. “It’s been a little while. I’m happy to see you again, Lord Gown.” She greeted the man that might as well be the lord of Carne Village.

“It’s nice to see you again as well, Miss Brita.” Momonga returned the greeting with a small chuckle. “I’m pleased that you seem to be doing well here in Carne.”

Brita rubbed the back of her head with a half-smile on her face. “I can’t complain, Lord Gown. Mr. Latimon has been teaching me plenty of new skills and he even praised how fast I’ve picked up using the bow. He says that I’m already well on my way to being a proper Ranger.”

Lupusregina smiled at Brita. “She’s being modest, Lord Ainz. Brita has already learned the layout of the forest near the village, learned to use a bow, now knows how to track animals through the wilderness, and she was the one that took down the deer yesterday too.”

“Quite the Ranger-in-training you seem to be, Miss Brita.” Momonga praised the young woman with a smile. ‘Just a bit more. Once she’s firmly in the Ranger Class, then I can begin my experiment.

“It’s nothing that impressive.” Brita shook her head, waving off Lupusregina’s list of accomplishments. “Mr. Latimon is just a good teacher. Plus,” She looked at Momonga with a small smile. “I owe you for this new life here in the village, Lord Gown.” She pointed over her shoulder with her thumb at her house behind her. “Including for this house, the nice bathtub and hot water, and all the things that you provided me with when I started living here.”

Momonga couldn’t help but smile at Brita and how grateful she was to him. Some part of him enjoyed when those he helped were grateful for the good things they were blessed with. “Think nothing of it, Miss Brita. You came to Carne at my suggestion, the least that I could do was make sure that you were comfortable here.”

Brita still looked happy as she grinned at Momonga. “Me and Celicia even trade stories of our time as Adventurers.” Her smile shrank a little. “I think having someone that understands her situation that she can talk to has helped her out a bit. At least I hope I’ve been able to help her. We both retired as Adventurers because of the horrible end of our Parties. But sometimes I think she worries more about me because I was there and almost didn’t survive that vampire attack.” She shook the memories away, having heard through the grapevine that a new Adamantite Ranked Adventurer had slain the monster that had brutally slaughtered the Party that she’d been with on that horrible night.

“I think you’re helping, Brita.” Lupusregina said with a smile, her golden eyes looking into Brita’s blue gaze. “Celicia seems happier since you two became friends.”

“R-Really?” Brita blinked at the kind words. Some part of her still felt a little wary around Lupusregina, though she couldn’t exactly figure out why. “Well, I’ll be happy if that’s the case.”

Momonga chuckled lightly. “You’re a kind person, Miss Brita. Thank you for befriending Celicia. You both deserve a good friend that can understand what you’ve gone through.” In his mind, Suzuki Satoru couldn’t help but wish there had been more people like Brita back in his old world when he’d been growing up. ‘Perhaps I’d have at least had one IRL friend if I could’ve met someone like Brita when I was a child.’ Pushing that thought aside for now, Momonga briefly admired Brita’s looks without being obvious about it. Maybe it was because of the growing love and relationships he was developing, but he felt like he’d been able to appreciate the fairer sex a bit more since coming to this new world.

After saying their goodbyes to Brita for now, Momonga and Lupusregina headed off towards the home of Lizzie and Nfirea. The way that Lupusregina covered her nose preemptively should’ve been a warning, but Momonga had gotten close to the house with the almost purplish smoke rising from the chimney and nearly heaved at the pungent smell. Right then and there, Momonga decided that this meeting would be a short one before he and Lupusregina left to a safer distance from the home of the two apothecaries.

-Capital City of Re-Estize Kingdom-

Many women on main street could be seen with pink or red cheeks as they walked. The appreciative gazes they all shared had only one target, a slightly older looking gentleman in a three-piece black suit with silver-white hair and a perfectly groomed beard and mustache. He appeared to be the butler of some very affluent family given the sheer quality of his clothes, his cleanliness, and his almost perfect posture as he strolled the streets.

The man in question was Sebas, having arrived in the capital two days prior with Solution, the pair had been setting themselves up as the young Lady of a wealthy merchant family and her faithful butler. Doing so allowed Sebas to stroll the streets and get a detailed layout of the capital, while also picking up bits and pieces of information that could be useful to Nazarick. Sebas’s daily strolls also made for gossip for the people, since no one recognized him, that must mean that a new, rich noble or merchant family had arrived in the capital. That was a chance for other nobles and merchants to reach out and try to feel out whether or not these newcomers would be business partners and, if so, what wares they had to offer.

Sebas noticed an older woman sitting on the steps of a building on the side of the street, she was clearly in pain, given her expression and the way she rested a hand atop her ankle. Her heavy-looking pack was sitting beside her, clearly too much for her to move in her condition. Without a thought, Sebas walked over to the woman and greeted her with a short, but proper, bow. “What seems to be the matter?”

The older woman looked up at Sebas and gave him a small, pained smile. “I was on my way home when I twisted my ankle.”

I could heal her with Ki but…’ Sebas thought, but knew that he wasn’t supposed to attract attention with skills that didn’t fit a butler. “That sounds like quite the ordeal. May I help you?” He offered the older woman a hand.

“N-No, it’s nothing that you need to trouble yourself with, sir…” The woman tried to decline, even as she blushed while looking at the handsome man.

“Please don’t worry.” Sebas assured the woman with a calm smile. “It’s only natural to help someone in need.” The old woman watched Sebas stand up and offer his hand again. “I shall accompany you. Would you show me the way?”

The older woman felt like she had to ask once more, just to be sure. “Are you sure, sir?”

“Of course.” Sebas assured her and smiled again once the woman put her hand in his. With ease Sebas turned and allowed the older woman to climb onto his back. Picking up her heavy pack with just one hand, Sebas carried the woman down the street, following her directions until they reached her home. With a smile, Sebas set the woman and her back down at the front door and the older woman bowed and thanked Sebas for his kindness.

With the woman safely brought home, Sebas continued on his way to his original location for his stroll, a place he’d been to every day since arriving in the capital.

-Magician’s Guild Headquarters-

In the large and ornate interior of the Magician’s Guild headquarters, many people came and went every day. Many were customers, hoping to purchase a magic scroll with a specific spell inscribed within. The rest were members of the said guild, often wearing robes of black and meeting with clients in one of the meeting rooms or creating the magic scrolls that had been commissioned in the back of the building away from prying eyes.

Sebas walked towards the large front desk as he’d done every time he’d come here. While he was used to the looks his presence drew, he couldn’t help but notice that far fewer eyes were on him both yesterday and today as compared to the first day when he and Solution had come to the Magician’s Guild together. Every eye in the building had been on the two of them that day, and many of the men that worked here had practically been tripping over themselves to be the one to assist Solution with whatever she needed.

“Welcome back to the Magician’s Guild, Lord Sebas. Always a pleasure.” The man at the counter greeted Sebas politely, everyone knowing that every day Sebas came in and every day he bought a new magic scroll with a different spell. Any frequent customer was always treated well at the Magician’s Guild, as they all tended to have deep pockets and were free with their money.

“I’d like to see the spell list, if you please.” Sebas requested politely, as a proper butler should.

The man behind the desk smiled and gave a nod. “Of course, sir. One moment, please.” It only took him a short moment to retrieve a thick book that listed every spell that the Magician’s Guild could inscribe into a magic scroll. “Here you are, Lord Sebas.” He pushed set the book on the counter in front of Sebas and let the man flip through it.

As Sebas flipped through the book, he was once more grateful for the [Instruct] Scroll that Lord Momonga had bestowed upon him. The gift from the Fox Lord had been a great boon to Nazarick as they’d expanded their range of information gathering across Re-Estize Kingdom. When he got to a spell that he wasn’t familiar with, Sebas reached into the inner pocket of his suit and pulled out a glasses case. Opened it revealed a simple, but clearly masterfully made set of glasses. He put them on, briefly hearing the two female employees behind the counter let out soft sighs as they admired his distinguished features. Glancing over at the nearest woman, he turned to face the blushing young lady. “Did you need something?”

“Oh, n-no…” The woman blushed cutely. “I was just thinking… You have beautiful posture.” She complimented him, while hiding some of her more risqué thoughts.

“Thank you.” Sebas gave the young woman a gentle smile. He pretended not to see the way she fidgeted and giggled, nor how her male colleague rolled his eyes. The magic glasses not only translated foreign letters, but they made reading handwritten books easier and helped with memorization, allowing Sebas to mentally copy the new spell’s description down so that it could be learned by some of Nazarick’s magic using NPCs and added to the growing list of spells that had seemingly been made here in this new world. “This spell…” Sebas pointed to the spell he’d just memorized the description of from the book. “…could you give me a detailed description on what the [Floating Board] spell does?”

“Gladly, sir.” The man assisting Sebas nodded. “[Floating Board] is a First Tier spell that creates a translucent board which floats. The size of the board and its maximum weight limit depend on the caster’s mana, but when used from a scroll the board is one square meter in size and has a weight limit of fifty kilograms. The board can move up to five meters away from the caster and, if the caster wishes, the board can follow them. It’s generally used for carrying items and is often seen on public construction sites.”

Sebas nodded in understanding, playing the role of someone that didn’t know much about magic easily. “I see. Then I’d like to buy one of these.”

The man behind the counter nodded with a polite smile. “Yes, sir.” He motioned one of his colleagues over and asked the man to bring over one of the appropriate scrolls. As the [Floating Board] was regularly used in public construction projects, the Magician’s Guild had many on hand, just waiting for an official to come buy dozens of them to use for whichever project was currently being worked on. In only a moment the second man returned and handed the first man the proper scroll. “Here you are, sir.” He placed the magic scroll on the counter between himself and Sebas. “As it’s a First Tier spell, the cost is one gold and ten silver.”

“Of course.” Sebas reached into a different pocket and pulled out a money pouch. He easily removed one gold coin and ten silver coins and placed them in the wooden tray on the counter for the man behind the counter to collect.

“We appreciate your business, as always, Lord Sebas.” The man bowed his head while collecting the money from the tray.

Sebas picked up the magic scroll and turned to walk out of the Magician’s Guild.

Once Sebas was far enough away, the two women behind the counter squealed happily. “That old man is so cool!”

“If he invited me for tea, I’d definitely go!” One of the women gushed.

“Me too!” The other woman giggled as she held her rosy cheeks.

The man that had sold Sebas the magic scroll rolled his eyes at his coworkers’ antics. “He must serve some wealthy noble. He carries himself so well and he’s incredibly knowledgeable.”

The man that had brought the scroll from the back nodded in agreement. “Do you think he’s secretly a Caster? All of the spells that he’s bought so far are fairly recent creations. It seems like he’s collecting them.”

The first man, his eye twitching as he heard his female colleagues giggling over Sebas still, put his hand together with a bright smile on his face. “I want to meet that pretty lady that he brought with him the first time again.”

“She was a real beauty.” His male colleague agreed, wistfully thinking of the gorgeous blonde woman.

The two women behind the counter gave both men flat looks as if they were crazy.

“Really? She was pretty, but that was all there was to her.” The woman that Sebas had spoken to said.

“Right? I bet she works Sebas so hard. I feel bad for him.” The second woman sighed, clearly longing for Sebas.

-Street-

Sebas looked at the magic scroll in his hand and then up towards the sky. Already the sun was beginning to set, casting the sky in shades of oranges and reds. “I’m a bit later than planned.” He said quietly, not realizing how long he’d strolled through the capital city this morning, combined with his good deed of carrying the injured woman to her home. Looking at the magic scroll in his hand again, he knew that it would be sent to Nazarick once he got back, so there was no need to rush. He could continue getting an accurate mental map of the capital and write it up in his report for Lord Momonga tonight. “Shadow Demon…” He addressed the being hiding within his shadow. Sebas’s shadow flickered at the edges, as if it was being cast by a flame rather than the sun. “…please tell Solution that I will be a little late tonight. That is all.”

A flicker of something rushed away from Sebas’s shadow faster than most eyes could hope to keep track of and the butler’s shadow returned to normal.

“I think I’ll map out that area today.” Sebas looked in a direction that he hadn’t take away from the Magician’s Guild before. He was constantly mapping out streets and alleyways between important locations and reporting all of it back to Lord Momonga and Nazarick. If ever his master or another member of Nazarick came to the capital, they’d have a knowledge of the city’s streets and important locations that no first time visitor could hope to possess. With his task in mind, Sebas began to walk down the street, looking to all as if he was merely a butler out on an errand for his master.

The sun was close to being completely set, the sky above turning purple, as fading red and orange light lit up the western edge, by the time that Sebas reached a backstreet that ran between two of the larger streets in this section of the capital. The area was more run down than one would expect given that the main streets were kept looking nicer. But every city had its dingy areas that were kept out of public view. Deciding on whether he should turn back and head for their current base or walk to the end of the street and then return, Sebas heard the sound of a metal door creaking open. It only took him a few more steps to see the light from an open door illuminating the darkened backstreet. A large man in simple workmen’s clothing tossed a large sack onto the cobblestones with barely a look and quickly closed the door behind him with a thud.

Sebas eyed the large sack as he continued walking. It was not his business what people did with refuse or, more than likely, illegal materials given how fast the large man had dumped the sack and retreated inside. “I should return.” He said as he walked past the sack on the ground.

But he stopped in his tracks when something from within the bag grabbed the hem of his black dress pants.

Sebas looked down at what had been in the sack and saw a mess of dirty blonde hair and the bare shoulders of what could only be a young woman. She was dirty, injured, and looked like she hadn’t been fed properly in a while. “Could you…let go, please?” He asked the injured woman in the sack.

The woman was silent, but her frail grip on his pant leg held on.

“Are you in need of some assistance? If that is the case, then simply ask.” Sebas told the injured, dirty, and half-starved woman.

The metal door of the building opened again, the large man returning with a lit lantern in his hand. “…hey, old man, where’d you come from?” He demanded of Sebas, trying to use his size to intimidate the butler. “Hey, hey, hey. What’re ya lookin’ at?! Get lost! If you leave now I’ll let you get home safe!” He threatened as soon as Sebas turned to look at him. Seeing as Sebas didn’t say anything, the large man growled at him. “Are you hard of hearin’ old timer?!”

Sebas gave the large man a polite smile.

The large man flinched at the seemingly pleasant expression, something inside of him practically screaming that he was in danger.

Sebas put the magic scroll into the inner pocket of his jacket for safekeeping before turning on the large man. He took one step forward and in a blur, his hand grabbed the larger man’s collar tightly and lifted him into the air, his feet flailing as he dropped the lantern and grabbed at Sebas’s arm in panic. The tight grip on his collar was cutting off his air supply as well, making every breath a struggle.

“That woman…what is she?” Sebas asked the large, flailing man.

“A-An employee…of ours…” The large man choked out.

Sebas’s eyes were like steel as he looked at the vainly struggling man. “I asked you ‘what’ she is. Your answer is ‘an employee’? So, you forced or at least allowed extreme violence upon her? And just where were you planning to take her?”

The man struggled, gasping for breath. “T-To the sh-shrine…she’s sick…”

“I’m not fond of lies.” Sebas told the man coldly. “You should tell the truth.”

“To…the shrine…” The large man gasped out.

Sebas narrowed his eyes. ‘Even in this situation he continues to lie? It must mean that it’ll be very bad for him if any information leaks.’ With a nonchalant toss, the large man fell from Sebas’s grip and crashed onto the ground.

“Ack! Hah…hah…” The large man coughed and breathed deeply to get air back into his lungs.

“If you were truly taking her to the shrine for treatment, then you won’t mind if I take her in your stead.” Sebas said without leaving any room for the man to argue.

The large man shook his head. “Wait! Legally speaking, she belongs to us… If you take her, it would be kidnapping!” He tried to threaten Sebas with the law. “I don’t know which noble you serve, but it would cause them a lot of trouble if you got mixed up in this kind of thing, right?”

Sebas looked down at the man. “You think my master can’t handle such a small thing? Laws exist to be broken by the truly powerful.”

“M-Maybe so… But this isn’t the same!” The man scrambled to his knees, not daring to get back on his feet with Sebas standing over him. “You’ve heard of them, right? The ‘Eight Fingers’? I’m tellin’ ya, just pretend ya didn’t see nothin’!”

My orders from Lord Momonga are currently to go undercover with Solution throughout the Re-Estize Kingdom and gather information along with potential connections that could be beneficial to Nazarick in the future. Would doing this go against the Supreme One’s will? I want to save this woman if I can. But it seems like it could cause a fair amount of trouble. If that’s true, would the Supreme One forgive me?’ The image of his creator, Touch Me, appeared in Sebas’s mind. The words that his creator lived by were simple: “Helping someone in need is always the right thing to do.” Sebas made his decision then and there. “Do you want me to help you, Miss?” He asked the battered and half-starved woman.

The larger man smirked, knowing the young woman was too far gone to be able to speak at this point.

Seeing the injured woman’s mouth trying to move, Sebas spoke to give her a push towards speaking for herself. “I’m not inclined to help those who choose prayer over action. They waste their lives wilting away, like flowers waiting for the rain to sustain them. However, you are fighting to stay alive.”

“…elp…me.” The barest words, a final desperate gasp for hope and life passed from the young woman’s lips.

“Let go of your fear and rest.” Sebas said softly to the young woman and he gently closed her eyes. “You are under my protection now.”

The large man gaped at Sebas’s words. “N-No way… She didn’t say…”

Sebas’s steely gaze pierced through the man like a sword. “A lie, you say? You mean like how you lied?”

“N-No!” He shook his head in panic. “B-But come on… If you take her, I won’t make it through the night!”

“Then run away. We’re leaving.” Sebas said as he gently picked up the young woman and turned away from the man.

The large man scrambled to his feet. “How am I suppose to run? And to where? With what money?!” He demanded of Sebas in terror.

Sebas reached into his pocket and tossed the small money pouch to the large man. “I hardly think it equals a life. But use that, hire and Adventurer, and flee.”

“P-Platinum trade coins?!” The man gaped at what was in the little bag. “Th-These are worth ten gold coins, each!” Counting by eye showed ten of the platinum coins in the bag.

Sebas didn’t look back, even as he heard the fleeing footsteps of the large man getting further and further away. ‘If that man makes a panicked escape, it should buy time for me to get this woman healed and to a safe place.’ Was it wrong to use the man as a distraction for the ‘Eight Fingers’? Sebas didn’t think so. Anyone that willingly soiled their hands with work that put a young woman in a state like this had long given up anything that could be called humanity.

-Solution and Sebas’s Temporary Base-

A nice manor house had been rented by Sebas and Solution under their guise as the young Lady of a merchant family and her butler. And as the front door opened, Solution, still in her elegant dress that her role required, greeted Sebas as he entered.

“Welcome back, Lord Sebas…” Solution’s voice trailed off as she saw what was in Sebas’s arms. “If I may ask…what the hell is that?”

“I found her.” Sebas replied as he carried the injured, sick, and half-starved young woman in the sack inside, closing the door behind him.

Solution’s expression was flat as she looked at the half-dead woman. “It doesn’t seem like a gift for me. So, what do you plan to do with it?”

Sebas looked at Solution for a moment before speaking. “Well, for starts, could you heal her wounds for me?”

“Wounds…” Solution glanced at the young woman in the sack again. “Couldn’t you have left her at a shrine?”

“Yes. I probably should have thought of that…” Sebas said, making it clear that he’d chosen against it.

Solution would’ve sighed if doing so wouldn’t have been incredibly rude to her superior. “I can dispose of it, if you wish.”

Sebas shook his head once. “No, I’ve brought this far. We should think of a use for her.” Seeing that Solution didn’t look convinced, he gave her a polite order. “First, could you look after her physical health for me?”

“Very well.” Solution nodded and followed Sebas as he carried the half-dead woman upstairs and into one of the spare bedrooms. After Sebas laid the woman onto the bed, sack and all, Solution stepped forward and easily pulled the sack off, revealing a mess of bruises, cuts, and half-healed scars.

“Solution, I’ll leave this to you.” Sebas said, turning away politely form the naked young woman and leaving the room. ‘Why did I save this woman? I can’t think of a concrete reason.’ The image of his creator appeared in his mind again. ‘The intentions of my creator, Lord Touch Me, bind me like a chain.’ Sebas let out a slow exhale of breath. “This must be a curse… It is not right to pity those who do not belong to Ainz Ooal Gown.” But still, his mind was filled with questions about whether what he’d done was right, or if acting on his own to fulfill his creator’s ideals was a betrayal of Lord Momonga’s will. His thoughts were broken when Solution opened the door to the bedroom and stepped out, closing the door quietly behind her. “How is she?”

Solution took a second to make a mental list and then began to speak. “She has Syphilis and two other venereal diseases, multiple fractured ribs and fingers, severed tendons in her right arm and left leg, and her top and bottom front teeth have been removed. Her organs aren’t functioning very well, she also has an anal fissure, and may be addicted to some kind of drug. As she has innumerable other cuts and bruises, I’ll omit the details of those.”

“Can she be treated?” Sebas asked directly.

“Easily.” Solution confirmed, her expression unchanging.

“Then please, heal her. You have healing scrolls in your possession, correct?” Sebas made his instructions clear.

Solution spoke up, her eyes losing their pupil as her true nature began to shine through. “Lord Sebas, those scrolls were given to use by the Supreme One. I hardly think they should be wasted on a human. If you want her healed, why not summon Lady Pestonya? Her healing magic would be far more effective.”

Sebas looked straight into Solution’s eyes, knowing that he didn’t have anywhere near enough reason to summon Pestonya from her duties in Nazarick. “Heal her.”

“Yes, sir.” Solution bowed, her eyes closed. “However, while her physical condition can be treated, her mental state is a different matter. To fix that, we’ll need to call for Lord Ainz.”

“Until I can make a report about the girl, I will not bother Lord Ainz on this matter.” Sebas told Solution without any room for argument. “At the very least we should have a name to give the Supreme One. After you heal her, please heat up some water and bathe her as well.”

Solution bowed again in acceptance of her orders.

Sebas turned and began walking down the hall towards the stairs. “I will go buy some food.”

Solution entered the bedroom again, closing the door behind her. In only a moment she was at the bedside of the half-dead woman and a magic scroll was emerging from her palm, having been hidden within her true slime body. “I have Lord Sebas’s permission, so I’ll promptly resolve this trouble. I’m sure you’re fine with that as well. You don’t even know what’s going on.” She spoke to the unconscious woman on the bed.

It was almost an hour later when Sebas approached the bedroom with a tray in his hands, a covered wooden bowl of fresh, warm soup on the tray along with a wooden spoon. Solution was waiting by the door and gave a short bow to Sebas to let him know that the healing and bathing had been taken care of. Sebas nodded back to her and entered the bedroom, seeing the young woman fully healed and sitting up in the bed, it was like night and day compared to what she’d looked like before. What had once been a half-dead young woman was now a lovely woman with long, clean blonde hair, soft white skin, blue eyes, and wearing a large night gown with the blankets pulled up around her waist.

“You should be fully healed, but how do you feel?” Sebas asked the young woman gently as he slowly approached the bed, not wanting to startle the woman. Not getting an answer, Sebas set the tray on the nightstand next to the bed and took the lid off the wooden bowl, letting the smell of the soup start to fill the air. “Are you hungry? I brought you some food.” He held the bowl out to the young woman.

The girl twitched at the smell, her dull blue eyes looking at the food, yet her hand reached out for the spoon shakily, as if by instinct, rather than conscious decision. She took a spoonful of the soup and brought it to her mouth. After swallowing the first spoonful, the young woman’s eyes seemed to come alive just a little bit as she took the bowl from Sebas’s hands and began to eat ravenously, only confirming that she’d been starved at the place that she’d been rescued from.

In only moments the bowl was empty and the young woman let out a sigh of relief at finally filling her stomach. Her eyes closed and she appeared to be about to fall asleep…until her body jerked and her eyes snapped open, looking around in panic and fear.

“Your body must want rest.” Sebas said gently to the scared woman. “You are in no danger here.” He assured her, looking into her eyes with such strength that the young woman couldn’t help but believe him. “Can you tell me your name?”

The girl’s eyes began to tear up at someone asking her name for the first time in far too long. “T-Tuare… Tuareninya…Veyron.”

Sebas barely kept his expression steady upon hearing the young woman’s name. It was a name that Lord Momonga had made every member of Nazarick that was going out into the Kingdom for intelligence gathering memorize and look into if they had the chance without drawing attention. But now that he knew the young woman’s name, his indiscretion now had merit. While he’d assuredly have to explain his actions and accept whatever punishment was decided for him by the Supreme One, his decision to follow his creator’s ideals had led to a nearly miraculous outcome. “That’s a lovely name, Tuareninya.” Sebas gave the young woman a soft smile. “My name is Sebas Tian.” He introduced himself to her with a gentle smile. “You have my word, Tuareninya, that when you open your eyes, you will still be in this bed, safe and sound.”

“Th…Thank…you.” Tuareninya managed to say, her voice still rough from not actually speaking for so long.

“Don’t worry about it. Since I found you, I’ll do everything in my power to keep you safe.” Sebas promised Tuareninya.

That proved to be the final straw as Tuareninya’s eyes filled with tears that quickly ran down her cheeks as she screamed and cried, the horror of what she’d gone through flooding her mind as she clawed at her hair and scalp. Sebas saw the breakdown and leaned forward, taking the terrified and traumatized woman into his arms.

“It’s okay. You’re okay now. You’re okay. You’re okay.” Sebas repeated softly to Tuareninya as he held her, feeling the wracking sobs of the young woman slowly ease as her body, still exhausted, relaxed in his embrace.

“S-Sorry…” Tuareninya tried to apologize, but Sebas held up a handkerchief and gently wiped her eyes with it.

Sebas smiled softly at Tuareninya. “Please, don’t’ worry about it. It is an honor for a man to lend his chest to a crying woman. And an unused handkerchief is a terrible thing.” He finished drying her eyes with the soft, pure white cloth. “Rest now. We’ll talk about what happens next once you wake up.”

Tuareninya looked up at Sebas in confusion, even as he helped to tuck her in. “Next?”

“I doubt you feel safe staying in the capital.” Sebas said softly, seeing how Tuareninya flinched just slightly proved his point. “The one I serve will find you a place away from here where you can be safe. So rest, for now.” He’d introduce her to Solution when she woke up. For now, he had a report so urgent that as soon as Tuareninya fell asleep he was out the door and pulling an emergency magic scroll form the hidden inner pocket of his suit jacket. Tossing the scroll into the air, it unrolled and burned up, making Sebas glow for a second as he put his index and middle finger to his temple. “[Message].”

“Sebas? Has something gone wrong?” Momonga’s voice filled Sebas’s mind.

“Lord Momonga, I’ve found her.” Sebas said immediately. “I’ve found Tuareninya Veyron.”

“Eh?!” Momonga’s exclamation of shock came through the [Message] spell loud and clear.

Tuare has been found and saved! WOOHOO!!!

However, the man that was supposed to dispose of her took the money that Sebas tossed to him and ran…and we all know how well that worked out in Canon.

But Momonga now knows that Tuareninya is not only alive, but safely under Sebas’s protection. It looks like he’ll get to keep that promise that he made to Celicia after all.

Speaking of Momonga, our Primordial Deity has certainly deepened his relationships with a few of the Nazarick women that love him! Ohohoho!

Albedo and Shalltear are GLOWING after their time spent with Momonga in the morning! Happy little Succubus and Vampire! Kek!

But now that Tuare has been rescued, will the Eight Fingers come calling to make trouble?

Will they unknowingly bring about their own end at the hands of Nazarick for ‘defying’ the will of the Supreme One?

Keep reading to find out!

Until I get your reviews, later!

The_Slave_Knight

The Yandere Duo are happy and satisfied, at this rate, Albedo might actually be able to ride her horse LMAO! Glad that Tuare has finally been found. Man, Overlord got *dark* with her. Like, we already know that Overlord was a dark anime, with the MC as the Villain, and we knew what Demiurge was doing at his "Happy Farm", but we never saw it. With Tuare and the Whore Houses, we saw in clear detail. I'm looking forward to seeing them all wiped out.

Kairomaru

And in THIS story, Tuare is directly under the protection of Nazarick from the beginning because Celicia survived. And the Eight Fingers is going to do something VERY stupid by trying to take her back...even if they don't realize it. In canon, most of Nazarick acted on Ainz's orders to deal with the Eight Fingers because he'd staked the name of Ainz Ooal Gown on her safety. But here in this story, Tuare's safety is a Nazarick priority, so ALL the denizens of Nazarick will see her being kidnapped as an affront to Nazarick and the Supreme Beings! We know just how well THAT will go over with all the NPCs, don't we? *Cackles in plans*

meh

Eight Fingers about the step on a nuclear landmine with a smile on their faces. On a unrelated note I just rewatched the Sacred Kingdom movie, so I'm hoping Calca gets a happy ending in this fic, maybe even joining the harem.
