Love the episode, the flirting really takes on interesting proportions. But looking forward to the next one even more, 13 is one of my favourites for... reasons.

What an amazing episode!! Okay I know we’re all freaking out over THAT scene (as we should, it was insane), but honestly? The scene at the beginning of the episode is the one that completely stole my heart. I never would’ve guessed that ZZS would be the one to open up first. But after all that brooding, he finally got the push he needed to figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his life. Chengling gave him hope again, for the Four Seasons Manor, the place that had been filled with nothing but regret for him. And I think that’s why he chose to use it as an olive branch for WKX too. He chose to believe in him, chose to try, even knowing it’s going to be hard. God I love him so much. It’s the attempt at healthy communication that gets me, you know? The moment where you acknowledge that it’s hard, for you and the other person, but you’re still willing to try anyway because it is worth it for you. And the role reversal?? I’m obsessed. Just look at WKX’s face. He was not expecting that. For all his shameless flirting, when it comes to actually being vulnerable, when the spotlight hits him, he freezes. And now it’s ZZS’s turn to break that wall down. Wow. Wow. I love them so much. Gao Xiaolian to me is a really traditional girl, being raised by such a traditional person as Gao Chong. And with all the women we have seen so far being part of assassin organizations or Ghost Valley, having her around is a nice bit of balance. She still has her own wants, like her feelings for Deng Kuan who is unconscious, but she was still willing to go along with being with CL just to make her dad happy. She didn’t even get upset until CL turned her down. It’s like, “I’m sacrificing what I want, and what do I get out of it?”. And when she saw her dad so torn up over CL going missing, she tried again, for him. She even says in this ep that she wants CL more as a brother, but she still puts what her dad wants above her own desires. It feels like a realistic take on what women had to deal with back then, even someone like Xiaolian, who belongs to a wealthy family. Honestly, that was smart of Cao Weining. It does work to shock and shut all of them up. Poor Gu Xiang tho lmao The hug CL gives WKX made me melt aaaaaa. It's so precious!! And seeing his worried face for CL too. Like ZZS said, he looks extremely like a mom who sends her son away And THE scene. This is just peak romance. So simple but so effective. This is why ZZS thinks it was worth it to try. Enjoying such simple things with the person you love brings them both so much happiness. Why keep brooding when you can try and have this? ZZS: "Now we are officially soulmates, let's marry off our eldest daughter"

Épisode 12!! What a roller coaster of goodness and healthy fluff we ve been graced with This one along with ep 6 and others down the road are the reason WOH is such a favorite of mine It’s just so good Seeing mister Zhou I want to die ZiShu open up, come along with his feelings and deciding that if the other party is struggling to open up, he ll take a step towards them and lay his vulnerability on the ground to make them understand that he is in for it and that it’s ok if it’s difficult for WKX to open up but he is here for him!! It’s peak healthy communication in a relationship even if our MCs are far from normal healthy individuals.. ZZS finding a disciple , and with him a reason to look forward for a tomorrow he thought he forgot is so emotional, and with all that, having WKX bulldozing into his life and messing his plans in the best way possible was also a push he needed to see life through a different angle!! I love ZZS Them sending their son to the sect was so sweet and such a portrayal of stern vs cool parent 🥹 And the scene, god that scene!! That scene was some of the most romantic portrayals I ve ever seen and it’s so simple in its execution but so powerful in its meaning. And finally, the meet the parents scene!! Now that they somewhat establish what kind of dynamic they have together and accepted it, time to settle to kids on their own .. and CWN is just the needed sweet lamb to show up !! Such an amazing episode! And such an awesome reaction and discussion🥰

This episode was soooooo good! Honestly ZZS was winning me over this week with his openness, and that EYE SCREWING HE WAS DOING. Chengling is such an MVP this episode and last week! ZZS choosing to try again to talk with WKX? I love it so much! Healthy communication! YES! I love that so much! You’re so right, WKX was NOT expecting this! And I love that HE is actually the vulnerable one when the shoe is on the other foot! I just love it so much! And WKX being concerned for ZZS’s “little idiot” after that hug? SLAIN. I love the variety of women in this series! I feel for Xiaolian in that she doesn’t really *love* Chengling, but wants to make her dad happy – she’s in a rough position. Poor Gu Xiang, though! CWN pulls it off and ZZS is ready to marry her off so he can run off with WKX! But ZZS is in such a good mood – I’m kind of all for it! Thank you for the comment!

This was a roller coaster of amazing! I really just love WOH already and this episode is one of my favorites! ZZS opening up was so beautiful and such a fun surprise that it was HIM that throws WKX off his game unexpectedly! I love how they meet in the middle for each other! And YES - peak healthy communication - yesssss!! I love that ZZS finding a disciple is so good! I just love Chengling being an MVP and all that happened between ZZS and WKX! They were such parents in this episode sending Chengling off! THAT SCENE. I am FLOORED. SO in love! It’s one of the most romantic danmei thing I’ve seen and I’m just in LOOOOVEEE! And then we get the meet the parents dinner! I just love it! CWN and GX, y’all have no clue what’s going down!! I just love this episode! Thank you for the comment and kind words! I love Cao Weining thought to come quietly to protect Gu Xiang's reputation, but when it was at the cost of the others suspecting her of working with the assassins he throws such ideals under the bus 🥺 Give me all the sexual innuendos in this episode 🥰 This show: You want some information? *throws so much exposition at you that you drown in information* I love, because he isn't blinded by greed of what the armoury contains, Zhou Zishu is able to properly assess the situation and what Chengling's father may have wanted by giving the Glazed Armour to his youngest son. It's also similar to when Wen Ke Xing talks about Zhou Zishu's Master's true intentions for bringing him out to play (that his Master wanted to play himself and not be scolded by his wife). Because Wen Ke Xing has such a playful nature he's able to see this side of Zhou Zishu's Master much more easily. You thought they were flirting in front of Zhang Chengling? Once he leaves, returning to the Yueyang Sect, the looks and outright flirting definitely makes you feel like such a third wheel! 🥰 By this point with the whole "Ah-Xu", "Lao Wen" scene, I had just decided that the censors became engrossed in the story like all of us 😆 We love us our Murder Husbands. They're truly so fitting for one another. It's also such an intriguing dynamic for them both to be interested in causing some chaos with the Scorpion Sect. Quite different from the other danmei couples you've seen so far 😁 I adore Gu Xiang and Zhang Chengling's familial relationship. I love how truly happy she was for him that he now can call Zhou Zishu his Shifu/Master 🥺 Zhou Zishu calling out Gu Xiang for wanting to stay with the Yueyang Sect for Cao Weining is one of my favourite moments from Zhou Zishu 🥰 And my shipper heart is so full that Gu Xiang doesn't refute it! But it's such a fun scene with the four of them at the table. Zhou Zishu now wanting to just travel the world enjoying the delights he can with his soulmate at his side hits me right in the feels every time though. And then the show loves to make me just burst out laughing at everyone else's reactions to Zhou Zishu planning to just hand over Gu Xiang to Cao Weining 🤣 True hardship of having to wait for Episode 13 after this episode, but the bigger hardship would definitely have to be re-watching this episode 😆 Or rather it's a bigger hardship on your heart from all the fangirling 😂

ALL the sexual innuendos, right?! And So. Much. Information! But I live for it! CWN is such a sweetheart, but I love that he spread the most *scandalous* rumor around unintentionally - good thing GX doesn’t mind…let’s just hope WKX doesn’t find out…for Cao WeiNing’s sake! And then ZZS basically getting GX to confirm she does like CWN?! YES! And GX and ChengLing acting like step-siblings is so sweet! ZZS I think helps to get so much of WKX’s love because he’s not greedy and thinks things through so rationally! And it helps to balance the chaotic playfulness that WKX has at times. The Ah Xu and Lao Wen scene was just INSANE and I loved it! They are also murder husbands and fit each other like yin and yang so well! I love that they are different from an MXTX couple, though - variety is the spice of life, right? 😛 I love that end scene! WKX internally screams like the rest of us for sure! Waiting for Episode 13 was INSANE! I’m glad that I finally could get to it, though! Thank you for the comment and kind words!
