This episode has so much set up and I am TERRIFIED of where it is going to take us -- characters are idolizing others, attempting to be idols themselves, and Odokawa is just trying to stay out of it all!

This week gave me more questions than answers, but I am AMPED to see the payoffs of this episode and all that it prepares us for potentially!

Regarding the pen - it's an important part of the side story (or stories) featured in the Odd Taxi audio drama. When the show was originally released, they also released an audio drama series that was running in parallel with the show. It was an episode of Odd Taxi, followed by an episode of the audio drama shortly after. I don't exactly remember the details, but I think it loosely follows the events and characters that were relevant in the last episode of the show. But, overall, it's not too main plot relevant, except for the final one, which is as plot relevant as it gets, and I would definitely recommend listening to that one. And, I suppose, also at least a couple of first episodes, to see what it's all about. If you, or anyone else who reads this is interested, you can google "Odd Taxi audio drama", you should pretty easily get links to the youtube playlist with English subtitles. And also to the wiki with transcripts for those episodes, should they ever go missing from youtube. The order is, as I mentioned, one audio drama skit after each episode of the show. The first one is "1.3", followed by "2.5", and so on. Dunno what the decimals mean, but the first digit is the actual number of the episode. Anyway, just FYI.

I’m trying to not know anything about the audio drama so far, so I did skip a part of this audio drama so that when I do get into them, I can be 100% blind, so thank you for the comment and please just be patient and know that if I say I’m going to react to something - as long as people don’t give me plot information (then I won’t since I’m a blind reactor) - then I’ll get to it and discuss it then!
