Rabbit is making a strange pose, not the most natural, but it works nevertheless and is different from usual.
I also like this photo for the special effects provided by the mighty Nikon 135mm f2 Defocus Control.
For example the sharpness of the eyes and of the tattoo on the left forearm, whilst all the rest quickly blurs away.
I also find particularly charming the magenta fringing on the left shoe, a true sign of a great traditional lens, one created for portraits and with BW in mind, where this "issue" is less noticeable.
With modern software, you could easily fix this fringing, but I actually welcome it as a sign of character, that makes this a unique organic lens in the current market aimed at sterile perfection.

Since you went to all that trouble to explain about the magenta fringing on Rabbit's shoe, I thought I should take a look at it, but it did take me quite a time to get down to it. It is a cute pose.
