This room was previously a cafeteria, but was past its best when I went there with Sugar.
Also in this case, the contrast between the beautiful model and the rough background (and foreground), is what creates the magic.
Our attention is tuning out all the ugly stuff, to concentrate exclusively on the beautiful model.
We are aware of the surroundings, but we understand it is there only to add depth to this angelic vision.

In the end it is just another way to make the subject stand out from everything else, like with selective focus, or light contrast etc.
Whatever it takes, I always want your full attention riveted on the model.
