Ivan Tzarovich

I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on this episode. Personally speaking, Powder's smile as she was falling still haunts me to this day. She really thought for a brief moment after that explosion that she had done something good for the first time in her life. Probably the first time she's ever felt useful. Probably the first time she's ever loved herself....only to find out that she had done the unthinkable. She was responsible for destroying her family and lost everything she had within a matter of minutes. "No good deed goes unpunished".

Kim's First Take

I know, that scene as she is falling is so sad... what stood out to me there was her stuffed bunny falling with her. The last moments of any sort of childhood for her. What I've thought about a lot is how it's really a combination of many people's choices that led to that moment though. It was Vi's fault for reporting herself, it was Vander's fault for going in her place, it was the Inforcers' fault for knowingly arresting the wrong person, it was Silco's fault for going after them in the first place and stabbing Vander... it was simply Powder's last bomb that blew it all up. And she is just the easiest person to point the finger to because of it. It's all incredibly tragic, but it was truly the necessary violence (title) to form this story into something I really can't wait to watch.
