HF Patch for Koikatsu v2.8 / コイカツ！自動更新 (Patreon)

Content

A patch for Koikatu and Koikatsu Party with all free updates, fan-made English translations and essential mods. It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered feel of the game.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately.

All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update, providing a stable platform for further modding. HF Patch can also repair many common issues, try it if you have issues.

Patcher changes / 変更 

  • Do not install VR module in Koikatsu Party (the VR module is installed through Steam library > DLC instead)
  • Remove unextracted sideloader modpacks in mods directory if they exist to save space
  • Remove KKUS if it's installed in Koikatsu Party (it's not compatible)

That sounds like a koikplugins feature. To get it back you have to manually reinstall koikplugins by closely following its installation manual.

Where did you keep these? It shouldn't touch your files in the UserData folder. What version of the game do you have, Japanese or Party? You can use something like recuva to get the deleted files back. Do this as quickly as possible and avoid writing anything to that partition until you're done. https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva

Are you sure it's KK_BecomeTrap? It shouldn't do anything. Can you send your vr output_log.txt with BecomeTrap causing these spikes?

There is a bug i found with the clothes which seem to disappear making the girls sometimes nude while talking to them...it never happened before this new update. or is it a mod that does this that randomly takes there clothes off?

Hello, i was just wondering how work the cheats tools ? After have download the game on steam, i install the patch , i try to use "f12" to trigger the console but it didn't appear i just receive the developper console. Is there others step to activate it ?

Try pressing the pause key or go to plugin settings and change the hotkey. Seach for "cheat" to find the setting.

Yes, it's compatible with all DLC but Koikatsu Party is still not compatible with darkness and yoyaku (and likely never will be).

When I install Yoyaku and Darkness, shouldn't I be seeing the change in logo? Also, will i be able to install Darkness after updating to 2.8 now?

The exe to install the HF patch triggers a few flags when run through Virustotal, and by some local protective services as well. This makes me a tad nervous, especially considering the debacle with that FlashbangZ guy that packed some viruses in with his modpacks a while back. Is this patch indeed safe? And how do I know it's safe? Thanks!

These days any non-trivial exe will get flagged by something unless you sign it, and even then it might get flagged until the AV company checks it themselves. Make sure you are only downloading from links here or on github. The patch is clean, but instead of taking my word for it ask on the Koikatsu / IS discord servers if it's safe.

There is no change in logo for yoyaku or darkness. After installing the updates you have to run the latest hf patch again.

There is one goatee accessory and some people are using the 3d pubic hair accessory, or just normal hair accessories for longer beards. If you want to, you can make your own beard accessories pretty easily, if you're interested ask in the modding channels on the discord server.

Sorry for the slow reply, press F1 for settings and turn off the single color male mode. You can do it with a hotkey too, press F2 for a list of them.

It's probably because they contain mods that were made after HF Patch came out. You can update your mods automatically in KK Manager, I posted it recently.

Go to settings and make sure that all accessories are set to show in school mode. If that doesn't help, go to plugin settings and turn on high poly mode (it will increase resource usage so you might need to reduce the character limit).

Yes, it unlocks story mode in the steam release. Make sure to install the latest version of hf patch, not this one.

Use the latest hf patch and select Japanese when starting the installer so that English translations don't get installed (or manually turn off translations in mod select screen). Chinese is only avaliable in Koikatsu Party with all updates (make sure it's up to date on steam).

In that case I can't help you since I have no idea what you have right now. The only fully supported way to get a proper Chinese translation is to use the latest version of Koikatsu Party and HF Patch 2.10.
