Ok so possible resolution: Brutus immediately opens his big loud mouth and declares that Aurelia is already betrothed to Lucian. The Abbess is delighted to indicate Lucian will be more or less inheriting Heavenwatch. Cyril, impressed by Lucian's newfound competence, will re-inherit him in some smaller way (Denzel remaining in position to take the Dukedom). And Algard and Denzel will make peace.

Aurelia might be able to get out of it by delaying for a day, and using that time to confess to the monastery. This proposal only exists in private, right now. The emperor might take it back, once he learns the truth. Edit: I don't think Lucian becoming engaged to Aurelia or lord of Heavenwatch is enough. Algard wouldn't care, and he has the power to push through to get what he wants.

I'm betting on no. Narrativelly, off screen fall damage almost never kills people. By the lore, Villeth is just a complete tank. This just isn't enough to seriously hurt him. And in the game, he has supposedly fallen into an abyss before, and been fine afterwards. Whatever that abyss was, it should be more serious than falling off the Heavenwatch bridge, as Lucian didn't think that was enough here.
