i have had some trouble with my computer for some time now and recently i have gotten some bluescreen crashes and have already wasted a bunch of time trying to fix it. maybe a factory restore might fix it, i don't see any other way so i will give it a try.

What kind of specs do you have? Is it worth upgrading?

i have pretty much almost the best you can get but i don't want to get anything new before NVidia releases the 50 series cards

Hmmmm... I wonder if it's a memory/ram issue or could be faulty drivers. Any indication on the blue screen what the issue is? Sometimes they have hex error codes you can Google.

Do a memory test, lots of times this is caused by bad RAM. Also I can easily tell you the cause of your bluescreen if you send me the memory dump, let me know if you'd like my help with that.

Hope you can find a fix soon 🤞

Hope the pc issues don't cause you too much a headache 🙏. Your work never disappoints

What’s the difference between the two pictures?

Is your PC overheating? That's one possibility. If that's the case, you might need to add some fresh thermal paste. Another issue might be browser tabs. Sounds silly, but if you're like me, having hundreds of browser tabs for Firefox can cause PC crashes

the ram is what i first thought of, i did two different tests and they ended up with no errors, honestly i think the bluescreen are not related to the crashes i have on Blender, it might have been just some random stuff triggering a bluescreen.

i think if it was overheating it would happen more often, also i have always had a lot of tabs open but i didn't have any crashes before with them so i think it eliminates that as the issue, but i appreciate the suggestions
