Time for a couple of FUN FACTS about this episode: (1) When Holden (Steven Strait) punched out the coffee machine, the prop dept. told him to be careful because it was the only one they had. So the shock on his face when he broke it is real.. (2) As they were setting up to shoot the scene of Drummer (Cara Gee) doing the “upside down sit-ups,” the crew was discussing how to rig up the wires to assist Cara. She overheard the discussion and said, “why don’t I just do it?” - which she did.

Important thing to note, is that you commented that the Protomolecule is interconnected, but curiously it reacts at simultaneous times(eg. Hybrid gets burned, Aboghast gets disassembled), easy to overlook, but no time lag for distance. Not really plot important, but shows just how advanced it is.

That's so cool that there's no time delay! I feel like I'm definitely going to start reading the books when there are no more episodes to watch. But I won't read beyond what the show gotten up to :P

My best guess is that Bobbie had to go outside of the ship for the manual override control for the hatch. Not sure how she knew there would be one, but it may be part of standard ship design.

There's something about Drummer's cynicism and sarcasm that I just really dig. Can I finish my drink first? Find an interview with Cara Gee, pre-Expanse in case of spoilers, you might be surprised. She just blows me away with her consistent Belter persona, some fine acting.

As you watch season 3 remember that during the airing of E6 the show was canceled by ScyFy. You just jumped onto the incredible roller coaster of Season 3 and we were faced with potentially losing this show in the middle. The show was saved through a massive campaign by the fans (the Screaming Firehawks!) to bring it to the attention of Amazon who picked up the show two weeks later during the airing of E8. It was a terrible two weeks thinking our show was done and now we have S4 AND S5 to look forward to! Loved this reaction because it really is another notch up in a show you now call your favorite!
