So the black outs are a side effect of an enchantment spell Jewels put on him? I didn't know she was a forest spirit. I don't know why Vili and Cass are so mad at Jewels for, they clearly care about him and don't want to eat him so she did them a favor, they weren't gonna go "Well that was fun" after eating him and move on with their lives. Sounds like Vili might change her mind about selling him at the end.

IDK, Vil supposedly ate Cass's father and moved on, so... a rando shouldn't be a big emotional drain for her? Maybe Cass is playing it up to look tough in front of her mom, but I think Vil is genuinely a threat to the listener.
