after the whole lust quirk thing, Katsuki essentially banned himself to the couch, because he didn't think he deserved to sleep close to Eijirou/didn't want to make him uncomfortable. and maybe giving Ei space for a bit was a good thing, but they got to talk a bit in the meantime, and they started to forgive themselves and each other, but it's been weeks and they've been miserable sleeping alone and they really miss each other.
