Random Post #48 (Kiria Quest Update) (Patreon)

Hi! Almost finished the next update, and I wanted to put some of my thoughts out there. Sadly, the sheer amount of work gone into this update made it so I could barely work on anything other than it this month.

Kiria's quest is now the hardest content I've ever worked at for the game. As I mentioned before, I consider Kiria one of the main girls, so other than lacking three whole quests, she will have: A single quest, some medium-sized "post quest" content that might as well be another quest, the only real "post-game" dungeon content, a full schedule, she'll accept gifts just like the main 6, a full three option scene, and she's playable in combat as a post-game broken character. As you can see, Kiria will come out with a lot of stuff.

One thing of note is that she'll accept gifts and will have an affection meter just like the other main girls. But unlike the other main girls, affection won't unlock new quests; instead, it will unlock some cute moments where Kiria is reflecting on her feelings for the player while chatting with some other girls. (Girls Kiria interacts with are Lamir, Falk, Peach, Hapi, Bum-Bum) In her case, she'll need around 40% fewer affection points than the main girls; considering she's unlocked so late into the game, making it so bombing her with expansive gifts will probably unlock the whole questline without many problems. (She won't like flowers though)

Kiria was probably the hardest character I ever had to write for the game, and I really hope you guys will like her. And one last thing, I was stuck for an entire week trying to come up with a good context for her scene, as I didn't want it to feel forced and happen just because she needed a scene, something that I had done before and deeply regret it (Forgive-me Jill and Maribel, you two deserved more development before getting into it)
