This is all written in my own opinion as a dev.

Sex Valley currently has a bit over 30 named characters with unique designs, and as a dev, I try to make every character have their moment in the spotlight. (I do try not to play favorites) The main girls get their whole romance and huge quests, Peach and Obscuria have their participation on the caves questline, and other characters like Celeste and Nihil are side-characters on major stories… but there is one group of characters that have always been on the forgotten side. Those in the group were once internally known as “generic villagers.”

Right at the beginning of the game, around the second ever update where the town was made explorable, I thought the place felt too empty, with only the six main girls wandering around, so I made Zehmun add some generic characters just to liven up the place. Those were the two sisters who cared for the tavern who became Sophie and Eris down the line,  the two old ladies who sold cows and chickens, who became Roxanne and Therese, the twin maids who became Mia and Nia, the blacksmith who became Sarah, and the druggie who became Emma and the… generic female villager who became Lillian… Of this group, none of them still fit the generic tag anymore, with one exception. 

There are characters I like and characters I dislike, and that’s fine. But there is something worse than being disliked, and that is a character I’m indifferent to. At least for someone I dislike, I end up thinking about them eventually, but there is one single character that might as well be a ghost with how forgotten and indifferent I am towards her. And that’s Lillian. (or Lilian? The character is so forgotten that I don’t even remember how to spell her name! Each file I have has a different name attached to her…)

I think Lillian looks ugly. She has a boring story, personality-wise, she lacks substance, and she has some weird transparency on her cheek, AND I think her face is so weird that it just kills any appeal she could have. After she got cut out of Lamir’s questline she was completely sidelined, and she has never won any poll (I think that’s because she’s ugly, too.) So overall, she had a horrible existence…

Now, after all this talk, I’ll get to what I’ve been meaning to say all along: I’ll tweak her art and rewrite Lilian. Time to get another hot MILF around these parts, and I might as well make her more than just a… uhhh… I think she’s a housekeeper? She goes around cleaning people’s houses, so I guess that’s it. Either way, she’ll be great! I’ll even throw in a scene her way.
