Another new character? Yes. Yes, indeed!
I think we have a good enough amount of characters in the game! I’m at a point where I will only add new NPCs when they are needed for the story or when I have a good idea about what to do with them, and here we are!
I’ll make a quick poll to decide some stuff I’m not sure about this new character! Currently, she doesn’t have a name, or anything really, outside an overall idea of what I’ll need her to be and do, but here’s a very quick rundown.
The new character is a blind, homeless ex-slave who recently ran away from their captives and is being hunted down by a criminal group. After being saved, she’ll be around the outskirts of town, living off the land similarly to Hapi. Unlike other characters, I want to make her more customizable! So the player will be able to play dress up with her, changing her clothes and hairstyle to better fit their likes! Also, I’ll make her an early game companion for the caves, with her class changing depending on the outfit the player makes her wear! (Disclaimer: Yes, she might get a pp if the player gets a particular witch involved. It's a part of her being a customizable character after all)
There’s a bunch of other stuff I wanna decide for this character, like the possible outfits! Currently, I’ll just leave her wearing rags, but I’ll do some other polls down the line to decide her whole dress-up thing!
As for this poll…As you guys know, I LOVE adding animal characteristics on the characters and using that to help define their personality, most of the time that is… All of them have something going on on that front (other than the player, Jill, and Elinnie, who are pure humans), and the homeless girl will be no different!
Three day poll because I actually need to iron out this character’s design and feel before I can hammer down the details for that one Sophie and Eris side quest! In the meantime, I’ll be working on a few intermediary farm upgrades and paving the way for another small Bum-Bum quest!
