It’s nice to finally see a reunion episode in a Korean dating show. Chinese dating shows always do reunions to give updates on the cast’s current relationships, so it’s great to see Korea starting to do the same. I’ve always felt that Igeon was misunderstood. He was on another dating show before, and he was honest and genuine there as well. After the show ended, he even called out the producers and revealed that parts of it were scripted (they told him who to pick on dates and who to pick for his final choice). So when he told GoEun that he doesn’t hide his private life, I think he genuinely meant it. He even dated the girl he met on Eden Season 2 after the show ended.

They didn't include the extra clip of heesun because of copyright - the song her and hyunjae were dancing to. Also pretty sure Jaejin and Jooyoung are actually dating but wanting to keep things private, plus they give secure, stable, been together forever vibes haha in the extra clip in the background mingee calls jooyoung "kim jae jin's wife" lol and apparently when they were playing jenga that first game, sungmin was saying to jooyoung "call/get your boyfriend" lol

ahhh copyright, makes sense! And awww okay that's cute! we definitely missed those things. It's totally fair for them to want to keep it private then, understandable. even though he's a dancer and she holds exhibitions, they seem like they're less in the media space than some of the other cast, so perhaps they want to keep it even more private. They do act like a couple though, like how they were listening to music together in the car, or they just went off on their own to hang out under the stars... It's a nice comfortable vibe for sure.

Oh really! That's so nice, I can't wait to watch some Chinese dating shows later on then. Yea as long as all parties are happy to share updates its really nice as fans to see things work out! IGeon is such an interesting character though, to me personally he came off very playboy-y in the show, not like he was trying to date multiple women at the same time but just he felt very indifferent in some senses, I could tell he liked GoEun but not to the degree that he actually felt. I think he mentions in this reunion (don't remember if it was ep 3 or ep 4) that he often has problems in life because of how he expresses himself, like maybe people don't believe him or something like that, so it seems to not just be me who misunderstood him. (Interesting that he called out certain things that were scripted in this other dating show). And ahhh didn't realize he ended up dating someone after the other show. I genuinely hope they give each other a shot, because their chemistry was much more tangible and palpable to me during this scene, where the pool scene was memorable but even she didn't know what they meant when they were talking about coming over or going over, she interpreted as literal/physically. But yeah this post-show has definitely changed how I saw him, like he's certainly still got a bit of a wild streak in him like how he likes to joke around a lot, but he's a lot more grounded than I realized.

This season was so satisfying!! We got different endgame couples even if some didn't make it irl, fair screentime for the love triangle, fun personalities (mina, mingee, samuel, jaejin etc), and ON TOP OF ALL we got real life couples ! If any couple dated in the previous season, i wonder why they are being so secretive about it. Because a lot of couple from other dating shows don't hide it once the show ends... like from Heart Signal, Heart Pairing, My Siblings Romance, or Exchange. For SI, we don't really know who dated apart from Yungjae and seoeun for example

The most satisfying one for sure!!! other season mostly had couples that I knew wouldn't make it to real life, and while it's fine if they don't, it just also defeats the purpose of the show if nobody ever ends up dating. Like at that point, just make the show about how many followers you can accumulate lol. But yes so many awesome people this season with interesting dynamics. I think the couples did not date, and the reason is simple, the show is way too short, so the chances of people making real long lasting connections is so rare. Realistically, if you go on a show where you meet 6-8 opposite gender people that you have a chance of being attracted to, many of whom may not be attracted to you, and within 9 days you need to get to know them enough where you would even get to the point of dating... it just seems highly improbable. EXchange is about 3 weeks long, and I haven't watched the others so I can't say, but because they're also spending time away from each other in Paradise, it's not like they are all spending time together in those 10 days, so it makes it even harder. I genuinely think the show should last at least 2 weeks, but an extra day is already an improvement lol. + The people they casted this season, they made an effort to not just do a regular interview, but mock situations where they were tested to see how they would interact when they were in a situation like they are on the island, so that they could find people with the biggest chance to succeed in meeting someone new. I think YeJin losing her confidence and HaEun coming late while being the young-funny archetype hurt their chances in meeting someone on the show, but outside of that everybody made some moves and had their chance to really shine, so I'm happy and I hope they keep up with the casting!!

This season was truly the best. And I really like how they did the reunion this time around. I would usually see reunion like this with Chinese dating shows so it's a refreshinv to see it with a Korean dating show. Also I don't know if you are planning on doing another Korean dating show but if you are, I recommend Nineteen to Twenty if you haven't seen it yet. It's basically about young adults who turned 20. One of the faves in my opinion with the best couples.

I kinda disagree on your take that Goeun was not feeling the tension in the pool because she was thinking physically. In the new released clip she said she is ISTP and I can relate (I am ISTJ) . I would never think it’s emotional move no matter how romantic the vibe is…When Igeon asked whether it’s physically or emotionally I was like “what?this can be interpreted as emotional move?!”

Maple Dragon Reacts!

yea i think someone else mentioned that reunions are kind of a normal thing on Chinese dating shows, i hope it becomes the norm! Nineteen To Twenty seems to be winning out in our polls, so I think that might be what we react to next! And its short enough for us to finish before Namgay leaves for her vacation!

Maple Dragon Reacts!

I'm sure she felt some tension, but I don't think it was as intense as the viewers thought it, because as she said, she had no recollection of what her face looked like in that scene, she was very tired/tense apparently or something to that degree. I wonder how much her MBTI would really play into this, but that's an interesting idea I haven't thought about before.
