SO CUTE!!! i have a lore question 🙋 what was it like for sunset after they were rescued from mint eye? like saeran had a rlly hard time afterwards, did she go thru similar? were they separated during that time (not broken up, but like could they still see each other)?

Very good question!! She was also pretty deep in the sauce (elixir) at that point but NOWHERE near as deep as he was, so while they both needed medical attention and therapy for a good while after that, he needed it significantly more and longer, so there was definitely a certain amount of time where they didn't see each other 😔 But Sunset recovers from the elixir side effects and the cult brainwashing much easier and faster than he does. Sunset fell into it because (like I imagine a lot of the believers are) she was incredibly depressed and jaded about the state of the world at that time, and it was easy to believe there was a safe place for "people like her" who "failed in life". But even just seeing So at Magenta all of a sudden (since like on Seven's route, him and "MC", in this case So, go to Magenta) kind of almost snapped her out of it a little bit, but in the sense that it momentarily made the thought "what the hell are we doing actually" pop into her head but didn't just immediately fully snap her out of the effects the elixir and the cult had 😭 So they were separated during the first and worst part of recovery, but hers was faster so she ended up wanting to focus on helping him as soon as they were able to see each other again, and there was definitely complex feelings going on on both sides but the care they developed for each other at Magenta didn't go anywhere afterwards. And they missed each other so much 🥹 Side note, while I think Ray isn't completely dormant at Magenta, I also think he only fronted very few times and because so much was going on all the time and things were kind of hazy for them both, he probably didn't visibly make it clear that he wasn't Unknown when he fronted. But after Magenta he can slowly begin to do that, and Ray and Sunset kind of only get to know each other post Magenta🙂‍↕️
