Dam now she makes me angry :D. Like you are allowed to go out and fuck however you want in public. But when Jeremy likes someone which seems a bit risky it is to much? But I think that is exactly why Tom loves Jeremy so much and is trying his best to be the good boyfriend he deserves because Jeremy did not look down to him, he did not care he is a hybrid, he just honestly talked to him and loves him even though he knows how the world sees him and even though he does come out of a family where that (probably) is totally not accepted. I have the feeling that Jeremy might be the only one Tom ever met who completly accepted him how he is. You might say Parker also does this but Parker is also "socially abnorm" so that is probably different also they kinda uses Tom to bail him out. I do not think he forces Tom but still they do not really accept Tom for what he is. Tom had a use for them and they did not care for the rest which is mentally very different to being really accepted. Because Tom is not only a hard, wild thing. He also is passionate, caring and calm. A side that no one out of Jeremy seem to respect.

Just realized why i dig this comic so much. Tom and his relationship with Jeremy reminds me a lot of my bf relationship. When we first meet, a lot of his friends were afraid of me (makes me giggle to this day) because i was (and still am) dressing like a hooligan, my head was always shaved bald, and that specific way of being... A lot of his friends advised him to dump me, they warned him that im "a bad person" and so on... I was lucky he didnt gave a shit and now were hapilly together for 9 years

Very valid crashout. Honestly and if he is homeless then what? They are behaving like Tom could not love someone just because he is homeless. Also I am pretty sure he just would sleep on the street if Jeremy would tell him he do not want to have him in his room for a night. Like with everything he did and said there is honestly no reasoning to distrust (and disrespect) Tom. (I understand the initial thought of protection but people do want to live their life the best protection you can give is by being there for them no matter what happens)

Hello everyone! Joining the discussion about whether Tom is homeless or not, I previously said that for me it’s hard to believe that, and that it was more likely Tom was renting a place or sharing a room with other people. My theory is reinforced by Ravi’s mention at the end of the previous chapter. I went back to read the earlier chapters and noticed two curious details that support the theory that Tom is homeless. Let’s remember that Kriek usually leaves us clues about upcoming plot twists, just like he did with the drug dealer storyline. The first detail is when Jeremy invites Tom to watch a movie; while devouring a big bag of chips, Tom tells Jeremy that he’s starving, which suggests that Tom hadn’t eaten before. The second detail is when Tom goes to Jeremy’s room and lies down on his bed, mentioning that he had forgotten that beds are supposed to be comfortable. With these two details, Tom gives us the impression that he doesn’t eat much—probably because he’s busy all day or because he doesn’t have a place or food to eat—and that he also doesn’t sleep in a bed. Maybe he sleeps on a couch or on the floor. It’s also curious to notice, as Boris said, that he’s always wearing the same clothes! Although Boris isn’t really one to point that out, since he always wears the same shirt.🫣

Even though it’s the same gesture, the difference is huge —your style has evolved and improved so much. I think it is more rare that you do not have to lay ground rouls on a realtionship start. And honestly probably not enough do it. Everyone is different and even if you had releationships already you can not just assume that it will be with everyone the same. So I think laying ground rules always is the best thing to start a realationship because then you minimize mistakes from assumptions :).

It’s concerning for sure. I see Tom and his behavior as being the product of an abusive upbringing. As someone who grew up in an abusive situation, and my close friend went through horrible things in the foster system, you develop defense mechanisms. Growing up where words could quickly turn to violence you start to have the mentality when you feel threatened that you’ll hurt them before they have the chance to hurt you. Absolutely unhealthy behavior for sure and my friend and I have both worked on it massively in adulthood to no longer lash out that way. Hopefully Tom can work past these behaviors as well.

Yeah so far my scepticism just gets reinforced and my alarm bells get louder and louder xD But since this is a furry drama comic there is probably a lot of dumbness preventing both of em to not get this resolved very quickly. That would be boring and wont make a emotional story after all :P Cuz if there was a good reason for the fight Tom would just say that instead of presenting an example of a justification (protecting someone from bullies) just to immediately confirm that this was not the case. I think Jeremy has shown Tom that he can be accepted how he is without the need to be rough or do favours. He kinda just saw right through all assumptions the "person" behind the look. It feels like now Tom wants to be more and more himself since he knows there will be someone who will still accept him without doing favours. I might see to much into the talk and action against Parker but with how Parker looks and how Tom reacts it really feels like he only knew to be used and I think he assumed the same from Jeremy at first but than realized Jeremy really likes him how he is so now he dares more to be how he wants (for or more with Jeremy) without others using him to profit.

Honestly somehow did not expect Parker getting so careful and helpful. They just seemed a bit more wild than to be able to talk so caringly :D But then it also fits that they try to help out resolving shit. Analyzing me striking again here :D : I somehow think they need Tom even though I still think they just use him I also think Parker needs Tom since themself are not really socially accepted. More than Tom and they probably care less than anyone but still. Probably why they decide to not go into careless mode but actual try to help and solve out the issues. At least thats my feeling which probably is heavily based on my own experiences with people (and probably the reason why Tom feels so familiar).

That is a bit funny since for me it is pretty much the opposite. I can relate to Tom so much. Went through life mostly not being accepted or just used by people with lots of problems at home and while cause of this I grew up not judging people instantly and being more open I feel agression grow inside me when people had it 'good' and 'no problems' since 'what do they know' even though I do not know if they really had no struggles or it just seems like that for me. For us both I hope we meet someone who can accept us how we are and we can get over our past and accept them as well :)

More for my own sake of writing what I’m thinking down because this comic has me engrossed, but Ravi was only brought up when Tom made it clear he and Jeremy are now dating. When it was seemingly just a fling or uncertain Parker didn’t say anything which leads me to believe it wouldn’t be an issue as this Ravi would have no reason to find out. But perhaps Tom having a (hopefully) longterm relationship means it’s more likely to spread as gossip and especially with Jeremy wanting to go to Toms home more now meaning they’d be seen together. Either way I’m very interested to see where this goes.

The more I see how Tom reacts the more I love him. He is trying so hard to be honest and still make it comfortable for Jeremy. Also it probably is the best after such a deep talk to let the evening pass with a calm end. You can clearly see how worried Jeremy is and I guess Tom realized it too so I hope Jeremy can understand that even though Tom might not live in a good/perfect situation he is not a bad guy. Also I have a feeling that the worries from Jeremy are less because of Tom but how his parents will think about that. It is clear Jeremy loves his parents but with each thing Tom adds it is getting more and more clear that he will never be able to tell them about Tom. I mean being gay not good but probably somehow doable, being together with a hybrid will probably break the relationship but could probably be worked at if he would have a "good status" (living on his own, smart, having a good job such things) but him being kinda homeless and completly on the edge of society is a completly knock off. As I said it is just a feeling but I think that is where Jeremys sadness and issues come from not because it is a real issue for him but because he would like to have his parents accept him with Tom and just really realized how impossible it probably will be. I hope he can solve it out and be happy. And honestly I hope his parents could change over time trying to accept it even if they in their inside can not I hope they can for their son otherwise I am afraid they will loose either because he goes his way with Tom or he goes without return (if you know what I mean). (But maybe I am thinking to much into it :D )

Honestly it’s smart from Tom at the moment, Jeremy is clearly rushing things with what he’s found out in a bid to prove what people have said wrong when what he needs to do is calm down and talk to Tom about it properly when he’s not overwhelmed. I don’t see it as them giving up but as Tom giving Jeremy some time to think. Whether he’s doing that on purpose or it’s accidental because he doesn’t know how to deal with the problem at the moment is up in the air but I’ll still give him bonus points.

(Finally at home) So I dont have many thoughts here, shocking I know but here they are: Even though Tom trusts and loves Jeremy enough that he decided to talk it out and never would betray him. In his mind he already "lost" the "Really?" after Jeremy says "After all, you are my boyfriend" at least makes me think that (and his behaviour before also a bit). Like he knew Jeremy did not abondon him but he still probably thought that he fucked up to much to have the honor to count as boyfriend. Which honestly tells a lot how his past relationships (not only romantic but in general) have been. He kinda already accepted that he is the low and will be so he expects that everyone sees exactly that in him. But Jeremy does not and probably was the first to really put value to Tom.

Everything is so fitting. Tom holding Jeremy nearly all time to make sure he is safe (and probably to reassure himself that Jeremy does not hate and dump him each step :D) Than Jeremy with a "ready to camp" backpack. I can not explain it but somehow Jeremy seemed from the start like the guy who does such a thing. Probably some book to study inside there too. (Other than me who is more like Tom charging in without a thought ending up totally unprepared :D) And than there is "the creep" who might be a weirdo and have some fetishes for sure but I honestly expect him to be some nice guy. After all I do not really judge until proven different. And when I get proven different I would worry about the person not me. I thought of it already and will say it: Ravi seems like a really nice person to have as a friend. Like don't get me wrong he probably is not the nicest person and seems like he does not care about shit but he also feels like the kind of person when you manage to get him as friend he will blow up a whole city for you if you need him to. Yeah it is settled this is my friends group (well apart of Applejack maybe thats why he is the least one I am fond of) :D But I really love the talking dynamic honestly I have the feeling that it is rare in comics or movies that dialogues seem "realistic" and you really hit the nail with your dialogues. Ravi also really strikes me like the one you hang around with if you want some fun but should still hold your distance to not get into to much shit while Parker is there but would not be someone I would want to hang around alone with for too long (hard to explain why that is just some feeling from the guts). Applejack I would probably never have real contact outside of him being "in the same friend group". And Tom is just a cute rough nice protecting half-wolf nothing to bad about him totally someone I would hang around with.
