Wow, it's another "early bonus video upload so I can get feedback on a new camera" situation! This could also potentially graduate to a mainline video depending on my ability to edit tonight...but honestly this WAS a really cool ferry so I could see it justifying that anyway.

But yeah, so I bought a Canon Powershot V1, and so far I feel WAY better about it than I have with the Sony. I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks!

I'm MUCH happier with this Canon Powershot V1 than I ever was with the Sony, but I'm curious to hear what you all think! I'm not a technophile but the new camera seems great, and thanks for sharing your trip. Have you taken the casino ferry? I hopped on it right after the casino opened, and it was an interesting to see the industrial waterfront in Chelsea, East Boston and Everett that I'd never seen.

I thought the audio and video quality was good. I think seeing how it works over time in your more normal filming settings, on buses and trains, with and without some of the video stabilization and noise suppression will help give a good indication of how the camera performs in different environments with it's different settings. Iwill agree with others, The Audio was great and even over the loud Red Line train I could hear you loud an clear

Yeah, for sure! I've been filming some stuff with it this past couple weeks so there'll be more to come!
