See, not all modern streetcars are bad! Although I still find things to complain about because...well A) I'm me, and B) It's still got some flaws that other modern streetcars have.

I was so happy when they added the rose lanes to 10th and 11th. While overall traffic downtown remains a lot lighter than pre-pandemic levels, this still really helps speed the streetcar routes through their core downtown. It's a more affordable option than MAX ($2 vs $2.80) though I'm not sure people use it that way. As a tourist, it is always helpful to use rail - you kind of know where it is, even if you have to wait a while, you'll get back to where you started from. I am a "big city" bus rider now and smart phones changed a lot, so I'm more confident in using them too. But it's nice for older/smaller town tourists alongside locals that need the corridors to have it.
